Connect the entire world of DOGE, LTC and BTC with MAC and the other way round.


What is the Machinecoin Pipe Project about?
If you are a user of the MAC you probably already have dreamed about to not just use the offers that are exclusively available for MAC but also the offers that are available for DOGE, LTC and BTC. This is because the users of the MAC love to spend their MAC in their daily life whenever its possible. Or: if you are a user of DOGE, LTC and BTC you probably have dreamed about to also use the offers for MAC. The Machinecoin Pipe Project aims to allow you exactly that. With Machinecoin Pipe you don't have to care anymore which of the supported cryptocurrencies you own and which offers you can get with them because you can get them all with just one of the supported cryptocurrencies.

Example: MAC -> DOGE, DOGE -> MAC
1. Imagine you want to bet on a sportsbook where DOGE but no MAC is accepted. You then proceed like you would pay with DOGE and right at the moment when you receive your DOGE deposit address Machinecoin Pipe comes into play. You create a Pipe between MAC and DOGE and simply pay your bet with MAC.  
2. Imagine someone wants to buy something from you and he wants to pay you with DOGE but you are just interested in MAC. You then create a Pipe between DOGE and MAC and simply send him the DOGE desposit address of that Pipe to receive his payment in MAC.

How do I create a Pipe?
1. Open http://pipe.scryptpower.de
2. Select to which cryptocurrency you want to convert your coins.
3. Enter the deposit address that belongs to 2)
4. Enter the Captcha-Code to check that you are a human and click on "Create Pipe".
5. Deposit to any of the given cryptocurrencies/addresses that you see after 4) are then automatically piped into the cryptocurrency of 2) with the address given in 3)
6. Check the current status to see where your coins actually are and if they already arrived at the desired position.



Why BETA?
There is a lot more to come so you just can see the tip of the iceberg here. The actual version supports MAC <-> DOGE and the first update will for example add support for BTC and LTC to it.
Another update will allow you to exactly define how many coins of your desired cryptocurrency should arrive at the recipients side and not just 100% piped of what you have send to it.
At least 5 updates are planned.

Further information
What you can see at http://pipe.scryptpower.de is not Machinecoin Pipe but an interface that allows you to connect to Machinecoin Pipe. During the BETA access to Machinecoin Pipe is exclusively available via Scryptpower. After the BETA all the necessary information to access Machinecoin Pipe directly are added to GitHub so that you then can download it.

After Machinecoin Pipe got all its features/updates I would like to have a Machinecoin ATM.

PPPS:
I also could imagine to build a Machinecoin Phone if the demand is high enough.
A smartphone based on Ubuntu/Debian with Machinecoin directly integrated into the system.
This would be a massive/huge project (technology, law (licenses), ...) but not impossible if we got the right basis for it.

All these features will be great! There is such a bright future for Machinecoin. With a little more attention and once people start realizing the potential and opportunities here, maybe other development teams will build some great stuff like Machinecoin accepting apps for the phone, prepaid credit cards that utilize the pipe and so much more. It definetely feels like the beginnings of something beautiful here.

Nice to see the pipe in action

The video is nice but confusing in some details so just to make it clear:

- The diagram at 0:01 (mm/ss) should be divided in 2 visible distinct parts that someone also not knowing Pipe before exactly knows how it works.
(You for example use a site where you have to send DOGE to a DOGEADDRESS but you got no DOGE but MAC. You then create a Pipe to DOGE and the given DOGEADDRESS.  Pipe then shows you for every supported cryptocurrency a unique deposit address that you can use to send coins to. All coins send to these addresses will automatically be piped into DOGE and arrive at the desired DOGEADDRESS.)

- At 0:26 you open MultiDOGE by mistake exactly this is not needed with Pipe.

- I would cut the video that its at the end just 2 or 3 minutes long.
In practice it takes me < 60 seconds to pay with my MAC on a site where DOGE but no MAC is accepted using Machinecoin Pipe.

Further updates will allow you to use all available offers for MAC/DOGE/BTC/LTC on the market just by owning MAC or DOGE or BTC or LTC. You then don't need to care anymore which of them you actually got.

With the current Machinecoin Pipe and DOGE<-> MAC support you already can enter the world of sites like Directbet.eu (accepts BTC, LTC and DOGE) and place there a bet using your MAC which are then automatically piped into DOGE.

With the final Machinecoin Pipe you then can also use sites like https://pock.io/gift-cards/amazon-co-uk where you need to send a well defined amount of a cryptocurrency to and therefore need to know how many coins you need to pipe to. And this will then additionally be really fast just 1 additional confirmation compared with the time that you would have needed in case you would have paid directly with the desired target cryptocurrency.
