I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ?

It was an enthusiastic moment as everywhere was lit up in momentous excitement. Many never imagined it was an overbought level. By the way, that price even got to $20,000. Go and check the historical data for Dec 17-19, 2017. It got that high.

LOL nooooo!  I wrote this post in regard to them! I also hope to talk to some of them, I was very into the Bitcoin thing in 2017 though I didin't have a lot of experience. I had about 3 BTC bought with the price below 2000$ and sold them when they nearly reched 3000$ ..  And when I saw what happened to it in December I felt a very high regret I hadn't kept these... That is why I'm so opened to this subject... because I partialy feel myself part of this tend

I am not one of the people who bought bitcoin at 19k but I can imagine what they are feeling when the price falls intensely. But I guess it was expected by other people here since bitcoin at 19k is definitely a burst of profit.

If i were invest in that price for sure right now im so depress because 19kusd is huge amount of money, my advice to them is just hold thier bitcoin and wait until the price reach 19usd above, again thats the only choice to make thier money back again. Just trust bitcoin.

Personally I didn't bought Bitcoins at that price, but I did bought altcoins which went high along with Bitcoin price hike. And yes all are in red ofcourse. For few coins I am unsure whether its gonna hit up unless Bitcoin hits up.

A known person bought at that time, and I helped him in that, he isn't in this forum though, that is why he took my help as he had no knowledge. I now feel, only if I had forced him more not to buy and he had listened to me, but it was done, and he is in loss. He holds it though, believing it would rebound and retouch that. Even reaching BEP would work for him.

Good to him that he is still keeping them! It's more than 50% guarantee it will go up again! just need to keep calm and hold patience! It's just the start!

Well, I started buying at $400+ and I kept on buying and selling some coins all the way up to $18 000. The difference is, some

people did this with their own money, where I did this with previous profits. When I started selling coins, I already made

between 500% to 800% profit per coin, so I am way into the green. {ROI reached a long time ago} I think only a small

percentage of those people who bought at those prices, might have been first time buyers and when it started to drop, they

would have panicked and sold already.  

To big contrast for trading newbies lol But a unique and memorable experience though. I wish I kept my coins longer rather then selling them early in August...

Lol Great question but remember everyone makes mistakes with crypto every now and then. Remember what happened in Q1 of 2017? Price went past $1k and then dropped suddenly below $800 because of some bad news. What were peoples reactions then? Bitcoin wont breach $1k again but what happened. Bitcoin breached $1k and touched $20k that same year. So I don't think those who bought at $20k should really feel bad. Price could potentially breach those levels again this year. The key is to remain calm and level headed. This is a long-term investment for me. Hope my comment helped! Please give me some + merit if you found my comment useful

Surely there are some people here that have bought some BTC when it was in 19k,
To be honest I bought some back then but when the price was dropping I sell it off and try to win back my money in alt-coin,
Luckily I manage to get some but I didn't really recover all of my money.
I think there's no people going to buy BTC it that kind of price. If they buy in that price and expecting that btc will higher the price but I thin that's a bad Idea first of all we buy BTC for profit and if you buy at a high price it will cause an bankrupt.

There will be plenty of time to recover your loses, I'm sure of that! Bitcoin era hasn't finished yet!

  I can only imagine how these people feel now... Waking up every morning with the hope that something positive has changed in their direction. Ok, there are millionaires that even after they bought 10...maybe 50 Bitcoins, didin't get that angry or sad as the ones who maybe spent more than a half of their savings or even worse...EVERYTHING...
  If there are any of them here on the forum, tell me what are you doing, how do you feel, how do you manage your hopes and how optimistic is your attitude to the situation. What forecatsts keep you alive and steel? What do people say? How much have you spent on Bitcoins? Besides investors, there might be some simple enthusiasts... How is the mood in your families?
  Also, even those who haven't spent so much on BTC or even spent nothing - what do you think of this? What will be in December? What is you point of view upon this situations? I was always thinking about this, but never had time to write this post on the forum. Was to busy working for my tiny salary lol

actualy all everything in the world is there uncertainty,thats why in investment  sometimes we called like a gambling that sometimes you win or sometimes we loss,so therefore sometimes we must accept the facts that those who bought btc in a price of $19K  have a big loss now,but i thinks in my own thinking there's no one should buy in that previous price  for investment last year,because mostly investor is wiser or skillfull now ,because they use the way of buy low and selling in high price.

yes you are right we will do trust in bitcoin price because bitcoin make highest record on every year. if we look at the history of bitcoin. bitcoin never give lost to their investor i hope just like 2017 in this year bitcoin will go highest price at the end of 2018., we just keep calm and wait tell to our profit if we hold our bitcoin then we will reach to profit.

I think the ones who have big losses should stick to this thread and be sure this kind of opinion is the closest to the turth. The probability of getting their money back is rather high! So don't sell your Bitcoins and wait for a repeated rise in their value! Turst Bitcoin! It's worth it!

This is a hard saying for bitcoin to even rise back to that high price again now. Those who bought at 19,000 are in great loss at this time and will be having prayers to wish it back up. It was a trade error for anyone buying at that time. Too bad.

But what seems more stable than Bitcoin at the moment? Is there anything else more promising than this coin? Doesn't it show any potential anymore? I think it really still smells of power.

$20,000 to $40,000 is 100% profit only and the risk of loss is highest. So there are sellers only at $19,000

To the OP, why bother bringing up sore moments from the past. Of course, there are people who bought at $19k...but not enough to match the people that wanted to sell because that's why the price went down! And I'm sure nearly all of those who bought at $19k sold shortly after as they saw the market pull away from them. The price didn't drop $10k over night, it floated between $15-17k for weeks! There was plenty of time for people to get out and endure an easy 10% loss.

Yes, it clearly shows why people will not buy bitcoin, which will cost, say, more than $ 20,000. Large amounts are invested, profits are unlikely to be big, but nerves will all cost a lot. Moreover, after the December fall in prices, all clearly saw what could happen in the future with the price of bitcoin, if it will be raised from time to time very high.
It will be easier to invest their money in cheap altcoyins, which will not be so risky and will bring profits much more.

I'm not bothering at all. And I brought up the past because I was part of that past. Bought at nearly 2k and sold soon after a 2700$ increase because I had to. And now I started this discution just for my own enthusiasm regarding Bitcoin and old times...
Bitcoin is one of my top discussion subjects and thoughts in the last 14 months and I am actively analizing it and looking forward to raise some profit on it again.

I'm pretty sure there are at least a few methods on getting your spenses back. Trading your coins back is one of them, and this time will surely come. If not, there will come up few other ways on lifting profits. At least I am working on one of them, but it's in early development.

Well...I'm pretty sure some of those who bought at the high price were advised to do so, having little knoledge and experience in buying/selling. I can imagine a guy having lot's of money and one who hasn't got pretty much and thinks of rising some profit and urges the previous one in buying some bitcoins... I think this is very common, considering BTC is very new among us and a very small percentage can afirm that they operate with confidence in this "market"

Honestly I try not to think of it that much since I am holding bitcoin for long term. So for me, the price now does not really affect my mood everyday but it will eventually change if there comes a time bitcoin will drop almost every month. And that only means there is something wrong with bitcoin already.
