It's a good sign that bitcoin is being used in more places. ATM machines are not free, they will pay the shop owners some money to leave it there so people must be using it in order to cover the costs.

I also expect that ATM bitcoin will be built on my country. I would not waste time selling bitcoins to bitcoin collectors online. I would get faster cash if ATM bitcoin were built

The thing about Bitcoin ATMs though is that normally the fees and the spread are huge. They have to pay rent to sit where they do. And of course the owners are trying to make a profit.

Number of BTC ATMs is unquestionably increases every day, but when you look at map of available ATMs approximately 2500 of the total 3100 is located in North America, 1972 in USA and 535 in Canada. I think that this fact speaks for itself, we are far away to see much better coverage in other part of the world. For instance one small European country Austria have 178 locations, and so-called most friendly county Japan only 11 locations.

Fortunately, in the Philippines, there are 11 locations of Bitcoin ATM scattered. It is not only for bitcoin but also for other cryptocurrencies like ether, dash, litecoin, dogecoin, zcash and monero. It can be from fiat to crypto and vice versa.

It's a good push towards the future, but I have to agree with the guy above. Super niche. The individuals who care will be the ones already using BTC/Cryptos and that is it. May you get a few more interested? More than likely, but it's just the beginning and I wouldn't take it as a measure as what is happening with market
Probably it's true that we are at the revolution of crypto in our society. We will live with crypto in our town, cities and places. Business is business we cannot stop that.

Really? I don't really know the truth, because in my country is still not available ATM Bitcoin and I know bitcoin users in my country still use local ATM to dilute bitcoin. I really hope if in my country also apply ATM Bitcoin so ease the process of transactions.

Simply, because that's where the money and the favorable legislation are.
You're not going to see a Ferrari at a safari tour, and you're not going to see an atm in a village where there is no electricity or bitcoin is banned.
The placement of those ATM show the truth even to the most ignorant ones, the real usage of BTC is in the western world. All the Philippines, India, China hype...is just hype!

In Belgium also recently an ATM was opened to buy and sell bitcoin/ethereum.
The installer of the ATM said that he likes bitcoin and blockchain and that he doesn't want a profit, but he charges a 8% fee  .

I don't quite get who these machines are used by.
Isn't it better to buy or sell crypto directly from your home?
Why would one go out of his comfortable chair and search for BTC ATM on the other end of the city?

We need to up these numbers! What is 3000? Nothing  In my country for example they are all illegal for now and I can't understand the government why they are not allowing people to use them and note that it's a Tier 1 country lol.

I know that bitcoin is still in process of developing and time will come for the upgrade of the system. Making those ATM cards is a good idea but it will surely create a chaos from holders because for sure many will be interested. The process of getting a card must be easy and safe to avoid inconvenience.

We all want what is best for the system of bitcoin so if making those cards will make it better then we should push it. In fact I would also want to purchase one card if this things worked. Just make sure that the process of getting those cards will be convenient, easy and faster. And please give those cards to the right bitcoin holders.

That's just the start. We will see more and more bitcoin adoption worldwide. Bitcoin adoption is on the rise. Many malls/stores and others are accepting Bitcoin and setting up new means of payment.

3000 is a significant number for btc which was described as a bubble by the majority of the world. I hope some day to see btc atm`s in every corner of the streets.

This map is not up to date. I know personally of a lot of new ATMs which have been placed in the past months in cities which don't appear to have any on this map.

I am working with Bitcoin in about 1 year, but for real time and don't understand people who are doing this things. It is better to buy on the exchange and wait for the benefit from it. I don't use ATM so I can't say anything about it, because I buy it on exchange.
