If talk ico, we should refer to Bitcoin or Ethereum, because these two coins even take several years to actually be sold.
Of course many ico are failing, because the main problem is too many projects are coming in at the same time.
But of course there are exceptions, because maybe 8% in crypto can be said a pretty big chance.

They are right that more than 90% of ICO is currently here to steal people's money, some of which are duplicate projects from previous projects that are also scam. Why do you focus on ICO alone? It might be better and safer to put money in an established coin, especially now that we are in a bear market.

You should not ask this question before you wait patiently for the previous ICO you participated. I think most of ICOs are still running their roadmap.
Once their roadmap reach to some products for mass adoption, your token value will increased because there are many demands.
