You have a big job in front of you. Use coin control to consolidate your transactions. I was able to send about 400 transactions at a time to a new wallet. You'll need to do that something like 48 times with your number of transactions. Each transaction of 400 will cost about 4.6 EBT. If you highlight a transaction in coin control, then you can hit space to select it. Then hit the down arrow. Repeat 400 times.

It's a huge pain, but short of someone writing a patch to automate this process, it's the only way. You will lose your coin age when you do this, though, but you should do it before the switch to high PoS otherwise your wallet will melt down.

If your wallet is too unresponsive to do this, then put "stake=0" in EBT.conf. That will turn off staking so you can work. You have to restart for it to take effect.

This problem affects big exchanges. They have staking turned off on their hot wallets for all PoS coins, not just EBT.

Thanks so much, that "stake=0" EBT.conf line was my lifesaver. Can I get your EBT address?

It is 5kGV4NLvAg3Pi6QWskp6HZ3tg79hoEYQji

Entropybit Cryptocurrency (EBT) will be the parent asset of a family of distributed assets. These assets and their relationship to Entropybit will be described in detail in announcements this coming week.

Anything about this?

Critical Bugfix Update: Version 4.0.2

A bug in the previous release causes all minting transactions to have zero value (edit: only since 12 am GMT June 30).

Release 4.0.2 fixes this problem and rewards mints with the correct value calculated for 100% APR. You will need to update to version 4.0.2 to earn 100% APR on your stake. We apologize for this bug.

Yes and no.

"Yes" is in the sense that the coins will have lost their age. However, the maximum amount of age lost is 4.5 days.

"No" is in the sense that the coins will not have lost much interest because they will be re-staked after 24 hours.

EBT plummet in price (probably due to the 100% APR kicking in), now its a good time to mine cheap EBT at http://gagapool.pw/

This is probably day traders who keep all of their EBT on the exchange and don't stake their coin.

Since the last wallet update (12h ago) I can't get anything staked, all orphaned Sad

The new staking parameters resulted in many, many transactions' suddenly becoming full weight.

Orphaned stake reverts back to your wallet and continues to age. You generally do not lose interest on orphaned stake, although it does clutter your wallet with orphaned transactions.

After about 4 or 5 days, these orphans should become much less frequent as the EBT in circulation begins to obtain a more even distribution of weights.

You can minimize orphaned stake by consolidating your transactions, giving them more coin-age and thus a greater chance to find a block before becoming orphaned.

Please be patient. Your reward will be 100% APR on your EBT.

Latest coind (not QT wallet) crashes with

Code:
************************
EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error
ReserveKeyFromKeyPool() : read failed
EBT in ThreadStakeMinter()

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
  what():  ReserveKeyFromKeyPool() : read failed

Switching back to previous on resolves the issue.

You have something wrong with your wallet. This is an IO error unique to your environment.
