What's the PoS reward? Is it a percentage?

 Huh

All views are my own, except those that I have subconsciously inherited from my parents and those that I have nicked from far cleverer people.

What is the point of this, and most of the rest of these alternatives?

WTS 5000 EBT for 0.2 BTC

That's super high. I've got over 20,000 EBT and I'd be surprised if I could sell them for 0.2 BTC this early in the game.

I think may be a better logo will attract more people... At the moment, even if this is a good coin..  people are shying away from this for some unknown reasons...

Honestly, the whole "assistance for the bitcoin impaired!" thing is a bit off-putting.

"Do you think you missed out on the BTC train? Well think again!  Now there is assistance for the crypto impaired, EBT is here for you less fortunate crypto holders so get on board!"
This just makes it sound like it's a get rich quick type of coin.

The only reason I started mining it is because I stuck around and read the rest of the thread.  If the description were just "What if in the future "card" is replaced with "coin"? Could cryptographic currency be the future of electronic benefit programs?" I think it would fare better

Yeah, the coin does give it rather mixed messages, especially thanks to the video they've used on their website.

Sheesh..

Either be a serious coin, or a joke coin. Do not try to be both. I like the idea, and I like the coin logo. It just needs to be a bit more serious with its message.

Thank you guys for the input, I'll discuss with the team and adjust accordingly.  I do agree we're putting out mixed messages and I'll have our web dev remove the video from the site.

I don't however, understand what the problem is with the term "bitcoin impaired"...I would consider myself "bitcoin impaired"...  If anyone wants to explain their stance on this please feel free to PM me rather than just quoting and adding +1 which provides no context.

I believe EBT will gain a lot more attention once it finds itself and focuses on being the Bitcoin underdog.

This coin needs more attention..

It's a few days old, and a soft launch. Once all the excitement dies down on some of the other altcoins, the miners will come, rest assured.

You think so?

I mined about 12000 EBT @ launch, so hope this coin gets a bit of value.

You often notice that good coins get easily overlooked when there's big hype about other altcoins still in full swing. Right now there's Cash, Nyan, Catcoin, and a good few others. Give it a week, and there'll be more interest when one of the hyped up coins loses hashpower.
