Hi Guys, I'm mining EBT for 14hours now and I found about 26 blocks, so ''normally'' I have 26 000 coins more added to my wallet no? Where are they ? They doesn't appear on my wallet. Need more marketing.. Nobody know this coin exists..(look at the hash rate) To get the honest hash rate, you have to go to every pool and add them up manually. Then you have to estimate the hashes of solo miners, which there is no way to know. The client doesn't have the capacity to calculate the overall network hash rate like some (not all) other coins do. I've been watching this coin since early on, and it has had a steady increase of hashes. I calculate right now that it is at least 90 kH/s MH/s (no accounting for solo miners). That's up from about 35 kH/s MH/s from a week ago. If you like this coin, my suggestion to you is to start (or keep) mining while it's easy. If this coin were going to tank, the hashes would have peaked and already started dropping. EBT is only 2 weeks old, but these days most coins peak after a few hours, or at most 3-4 days. [edit] For perspective, CASH was at about 325 kH/s MH/s when it was slated to go on cryptsy, which it achieved after about 3 weeks. If EBT gets to that hash rate, it will take a couple of months, which is good news for small time miners interested in this coin. |

EBT is more than 90 KH/s, you need to do a small fact re-check, no offense. WebCoin.us alone mines with 2.988 MH/s at the moment. 90 KH/s would equal one piece of horrible GPU anyway.
However I did not come to rant, I came to announce that I am coding a terrific website for EBT, it will start off with a mining calculator, but it could become so much more, just send me over ideas and I will be happy to implement.
Loving this coin! Giving food to the poor - Yay!

Alright guys, apologies for the lack of posts over the past day or so! I updated the OP with the new pools that have been added as well as the addnode, thank you guys so much for supporting the coin. I did an interview the other day and we'll have a great write up about the coin going out on Monday so look forward to that. If you guys have any ideas on how to get more exposure let us know. So far we've experienced no issues with the coin and we've been working with some exchanges to make a couple minor changes they requested (nothing that affects the coin parameters). Hopefully the exchanges will continue to recognize the support the coin has been giving. The support team for this coin isn't going anywhere and that's very important to the future of the coin and being listed with the big boys.  |

2nd worse...you haven't checked out GaltCoin. Awesome idea, horrible start. Even dev2 had to apologize for dev1. I have an idea I'd like to implement for EBT, a shopping site where you can buy plant/vegetable seeds for ebt, keeping with the whole foodstamp theme. Portions of the sites proceeds get donated to local foodbanks. I was thinking something simple, like just a WP site with a woocommerce plugin. Problem is I'm super lazy and have adult A.D.D. so about 0.000578% of my ideas come to fruition. Still I think it's a great idea. |

Yes I am ashamed to mine maxcoin.  The point is I need Bitcoins and I am not going to give my valuerable EBT's for this. Maxcoin is the most profitable to mine and convert into Bitcoins at the moment. Diff is 44063 now and there is more than half the community in it mineing. You hardly get anything anymore but still the little bit that you get and you can dump gives you a factor more profit than any other coin you can mine for trading into bitcoins at the moment. Edit: MaxCoin profitability is over. MaxCoin correction has set in. It's nose diving now. I sold in time and I am finnaly back to mine some good long value coins. |
