Many of us have built keccak miners, but probably none of them will work. And if they did, I don't think anyone is giving them away for many hours!
Hence the "prize" aspect.  The problem is, there is no prize bigger than getting MaxCoins faster than everyone else! |

Depends. I don't know what a good value would be but there is a number that would give more coins as the prize than what they could mine in the time between when someone releases a GPU implementation (and someone will, no matter what, I'll do it if no one else does that's for sure). Not every developer has a huge mining farm. |

WTF... where is the site.. I dont do facebook, or twitter.. github repos is empty..
I noticed the github directory is empty too ( https://github.com/Max-Coin/MaxCoin) , maybe they took it down just prelaunch so people cant see any last minute changes? Its been empty since launch... Odd...considering the coin doesn't launch for another 100 minutes or so.... |

No GPU miner farms, CPU is the most fair and best option.
Since when does mining come down to "fairness"? If you are not willing to pay big bucks for a GPU mining rig, that's your loss. Lmao. People make me laugh. "the most fair" lmao. the more people who can successfully mine this coin the bigger community it will have and the more success it will have, why would max release a coin that mainly benefits users with huge mining farms who make a living out of mining coins. I doubt max has been involved much of the finer details of this coin tbh. |
