Has any altcoin launched the client as an encrypted file and provided the password during launch?
Maybe that can work  Smiley

Am I able to mine this shit on linux mint when the coin launches?
Once I did some GPU BTC mining (year ago) on windows but all my systems have switched to linux mint and I want to mine this coin.

Jesus Christ people are getting their knickers in a right twist.  It's not your right to have this.  Its been given to you, you ungrateful fucks.  How many of you have ever seen an IT project launch to the second.  It will all come good.

some people really need to chill the fuck out

It's astounds me that people have been able to post 24 pages in this thread since the scheduled launch time, and the MaxCoin devs claim they haven't been able to do the launch here which involves just changing the first post in this thread.

MaxCoin ‏@maxcoinproject  35 мин
Rest assured the screenshots of apparent premine are fake and you'll be able to verify those yourself after launch.
MaxCoin ‏@maxcoinproject  31 мин
There will be a new launch time to allow regrouping and make sure word has chance to spread.
MaxCoin ‏@maxcoinproject  33 мин
We are going to use Twitter, Reddit and the official site to begin the launch instead as I feel BitcoinTalk is not going to recover for us.

but that wouldn't be fair to the people who haven't heard about it yet!
