the fact that Max would lend his name to such a monumental f**kup speaks volumes about his character.. for a guy who supposedly invented virtual currency with his "holywood stock exchange" the guy shows an absolutely remarkable lack of ability to do even the most basic due diligence and forward planning.

that is not a CPU miner available for windows it is a bunch of source code and how to compile a GCC linux program under windows.
thank you for the help but no thanks.. the coins are already gone.. by the time enough people get this up and running the difficulty will be up 10 fold.
the amateurish devs have already done irreparable damage to the value of this coin. its reputation as a NON pre-mined fairly distributed coin is already destroyed.

also a difficulty that rises much faster than Bitcoin which is already rising the fastest due to the problem of ASICS.. kinda defeats the purpose of being ASIC resistant.
instead of having a coin with a difficulty that gradually rose over 2 years and then skyrocketed in its final 2.. MAXCOIN seeks to replace it with a coin that skyrocketed on day 1.

this is exactly what i said earlier, the starting price of 0.01 is a joke for a 250million coins supply. From an investor point of view it leaves no room for a decent price appreciation and the price will not sustain itself in the short and long term. I would warn any buyer from buying at this price, you'll only be holding a bag soon enough.
