only fair way is figure out the new cost...we pay the difference or you refund original amount.  give it to sunday as a deadline

That will probably be the best route.
I will make a deal with ya.

The new price will be BTC0.17 a DIFFERENCE of BTC0.063 per unit HOWEVER if the price of btc goes back up past $750 then i will refund the full amount of the Difference paid.

BTC1 =

Unless ya have a different idea.

That seems to make the most sense to me. So we owe an additional .063 BTC for each miner correct?

Umm, right now the price of bitcoin on several exchanges is about $630 * .17 = $107.10 A difference of $22 over the $85 purchase price. I feel thats little extreme for an item that is suppose to cost $85.00. 10 Units x $22.00 $220 is a fairly big cost difference.

Indeed. What my plan is truly is come sunday at 12:00pm CST is what ever the difference is to pay it back. so in all actually you will be paying $85.00. Its just high right now so just in case.

I'll have to move some USD to BTC, but it's not a big deal considering the volatility of BTC right now. More than willing to help.

Yeah, the math is hurting me:

I paid 2.14BTC@around 750.00 for 20 units = ~ $1605.00.

+ new charge difference with BTC drop for me [.063X20] 1.26X~$625.00= $787.50

Sum of Group buy Price:                 ~$2392.00

Sum of Price on Dual Miner Site:      ~$1842.00

Delta of Group Buy:                        ~$550.00

Arrgh...I'll let you know by Sunday.  Tongue

Seems to be a little excessive atm with the price on preev at 678.
678 x 0.126 = $85

When do you order ? sunday ?
I am fine with giving you the difference and you refund back the overpayment.

I think ~ $700/BTC range may be a good time to order ?

I keep hearing speculations that once MtGox reopens withdrawals the price will jump. Should we wait till Tuesday ?

Demon thanks for PM on 9 paid miners. The second message that lists summary of orders now shows substantial deficit 227/300 Sad Will you be able to order even if the price gets above $700?

Couldn't you just continue the group buy until you have enough (either from more orders or higher price - or a combination?)

I agree.  Please keep it open until you have enough.
Mid week I will be able to afford one as well to help out the group buy.  If things go well I may even be able to do 2 of them.

I know what you are saying.
I don't have an answer.  The way BTC rates are going up again finally maybe another week before doing a refund will get you to the level you need to order.
MTGoX really has screwed everything up badly.
