People are being scammed because they think for easy money without knowing the real purpose of their investment. Cryptocurrency is a good investment right now but since many scams are happening people should be more cautious when it comes to investing. Newbie should understand the functions of every cryptocurrency and they must know the risk of investing in cryptocurrency.

A very simple opinion about this scenario that we should just be precarious about the HYIP offerings and also Ponzi's like mining schemes, doubling your BTC etc. In reality there are such things like them exist and people mostly fall for that. They get scammed with thousands of dollars and globally millions are vanished just like that. If you see such new cases every where then panic attack starts everywhere and this leads to even bigger drops in the market and thus crypto starts crashing.

That is really true a lot of scams are being known by people and some got scams too in crypto business. Bitcoin is not really scam but because of its popularity, it was being used by scammers to scam people and that is why people believe bitcoin is scam. If you want to invest in crypto try to do a keen research on how good is the reputation of the project you are planning to invest in. There are lots of project who offered high interest rate or high returns on investments but actually it has the plan of leaving out after getting the money from investors. So avoid this kind of project.
