There are greedy and bad people out there riding the popularity of bitcoin and used it to scam people for their benefits. That is a very sad thing to hear, but how can we stop them? With regards to any investment, specially to bitcoin, before investing, one should equipped themselves with enough knowledge about cryptocurrency to avoid getting scam. You should research more and read more and be very careful.

Don't just base on the news just base on your own research and own experience because news is just an instrument to spread a fudd about the bitcoin is so that many new in the crypto would easily sell their coin in a lower price and many people would buy it and benefit before the year end.

Knowing some facts about Bitcoin is one of the things that needs to be done before investing in this field. Not too hard to do. Learn all about how to invest and then search for information on the Internet, then you will get a lot of references on all that. Or try to ask your friends who have joined first crypto. Surely you will get the information you want that will convince you to join the crypto.

In principle, this person is absolutely right, the fact is that with the growth of popularity, not only traders and investors earn their currency, but scammers aspire to snatch their piece of pie, in order not to fall into their trap, you only need one thing - not investing in something or anything you do not know!!
90% of crypto investors invest their money on recommendations from different channels and at the same time think that they manage their money themselves)).

Yes, i totally agree with that. A lot of people who entered the crypto industry didnt even understand a bit about Bitcoin, they only cares about the profit. Greediness is what bad people take advantage of. This is why people should understand and think about what they're getting into before they invest their money.

Ofcourse before you invest and entrust your money with the ICO, you should make sure that they are really trustworthy and ofcourse you should already know the background of that ICO that you are going to invest.

Possibility and popularity are the most important thing for me when I want to invest in crypto. However crypto is the most risky place of investment but when choosing a good crypto will be very profitable.

yes I have someone with a scam in phillippines. they do not return money and they consider people when investing in bitcoins it will return to them more.
but they do not know the bitcoin is a long-term investment that you wait for it to increase the amount before you pay.
so it is important for Filipinos who have proven in bitcoin to get wet before they get out of money

yes, before investing investors should be careful in choosing ICO projects, besides investors should read all the rules and information about ICO projects so investors will know that the project is not a scam.

in my opinion, for campaign managers to be cautious in accepting ICO projects, if there is a scam ICO project then campaign managers also get punishment as exposed to red trust or their account is blocked.
I suggest penalties for campaign managers so they do not accept scam projects and investors can be safe in investing.

Of course, many of the current ICO projects are scams.
This requires people to judge themselves or collect some information.
If you are a newcomer to a cryptocurrency, it is not advisable to go to ICO. Instead, try to buy some existing coins to try.

you need to make sure you know the difference between airdrop and ICO, when you have to invest your money from the begging  or get something initially for free and see how it works
