Depends on the altcoin which you want to buy, if your decision invest in an altcoin which has low market volume, it can cause to lose huge percentage; but if you want to invest in top 20 altcoins; it is good idea i think.

No, the price of bitcoin is not going to go that low anytime soon, however I agree that this is a bad moment to buy altcoins, if the bitcoin ETF is denied then the price of bitcoin and altcoins will go down and if the bitcoin ETF is approved the price of bitcoin will go up but the price of altcoins will go down, in fact I cannot imagine a single scenario in which alts go up soon, so it is a good idea to wait until they crash a little bit more.

Im not sorting out ICO or not, just checking the team and roadmap, what has been done as for now, future plans etc.
In long run projects with good basis as Ingot and Iexec RLC will survive as the hyped ones with marketing behind only will turin into the dust!

I do not think that this is a good strategy. Simply if you think that you will lose less money, then the question is why do you need to invest then? Is not it easier to just survive this time in a dollar or bitcoin?
