bitcoin today is a global currency or a global asset that says otherwise is shod that is the same as saying that gold is not global bitcoin is also a reserve of value is also limited i also have to get it out of a mine but virtual it is difficult to obtain or mine it takes time and work is not that you say I am going to create a bitcoin out of nothing has to have a computer mining machines electricity internet and work all day and the other way is to invest money and market it so it is not easy the degree of difficulty is what makes bitcoin is maintained because it can not be manipulated

Bitcoin will be global currency, just give it 5 years, once everyone can buy and sell with their phone and with few apps with low fees and fast transaction, i believe it will be a global currency.
how to fix fee and transaction problem? and if 5 years bitcoin reach its limit nothing that we can do again. after all circulation almost end it is difficult to send bitcoin to another place if miner not work again |

If you mean bitcoin to be a global currency that can be used by all people in this world and used as a payment system in various aspects, it is impossible to happen with confidence for many reasons. Only people are crazy about bitcoin and have a passion for bitcoin to have a high price that wants it to happen. But if you mean bitcoin become a global currency only for people who know bitcoin, for instance, I live with you in different country and I will sell the goods to you and we have agreed the payment instrument that we use is bitcoin, indirectly bitcoin has become a global currency. Because we have a different currency, but with bitcoin everyone who uses it is the same. |

I think that it will happen in a few decades from now, i am a bitcoin holder and an entusiast but i dont think that we are going to see a huge adoption in a few years (1 - 2) just like many people said before.It is going to take a long time, a lot.

Bitcoin is not a comprehensive solution to solve all the problems that people often think of. Instead, you are looking at each ledger, each with different blockchains that will solve different problems.
I agree with you, and one more point about it. People now want to sell money from nothing. They believe that one day if he or she invest into something about $1,000, you can earn $2000 for 2 months. It is something fantastic. |

I think that it will happen in a few decades from now
We don't have to wait for a decade before seeing bitcoin become a global currency. Actually, it's already one of the best alternative payment system that's being used globally, today. perhaps not bitcoin, but any cyrptocurrency will be global.
If bitcoin won't be your global currency, what currency are you expecting to become? dollar? As I've said, bitcoin is a global currency today and it has been massively used with various market places and trades online. |

It is already a global currency because anyone can freely use it but the real problem is the issue about the legality in countries and this is the reason why bitcoin is being prevented from reaching its mass adoption and be used as a medium of payment or as a currency. But I understand why some countries dont want it as a currency it is because of the volatility of it and it is hard to use a currency that is not stable. And I think it will never be stable because it is being traded and people are just into it because of the profit that they can get from investing in bitcoin. I do not fully believe the slant news about bitcoin, because some of the outstanding news is made by people who do not like bitcoin and people who are frustrated because prices are falling too long. bitcoin is a global currency that can be accepted by everyone, only in some bitcoin countries has not been legalized. |

Btc won't be a global currency as in, not gobally accepted??
Already, Btc is used by citizens across the globe irrespective of the fact that some countries have illegalised its use. This even declares that alreacdy, it is globbally known. I believe with time, Btc will be legally accepted, if not in all countries, ,many will do

Bitcoin is adoption is as young as the infancy and still very far from reality to become a Global Standard currency yet for electronic transactions this could be applied as a standard for crypto currency but a conflict against fiat is still debatable to be accepted as a Global Currency but as long as bitcoin still exist then bitcoin has its own world trying to connect other currencies.

Probably because bitcoin is not accepted in all countries makes the factor why bitcoin will not be a global currency. Because it requires all the recognition of the country that exists in the world like the dollar that has become the global currency.
