There are a lot of scams out there to be wary of. I always like to participate in projects that have the most reputable VC supporting them. I figure that they will not want to be associated with any kinds of scams so much safer in my humble opinion. Also don’t be only lured by high token price projects; vet as if u were investing your own money.

You should be good at using gtihub to search the code development of this token.
If the code for this token is updated slowly, you need to be careful.

I can recommend you not to focus only on crypto there are many ways to gain profit.
I’ve gained some experience lately in the Token Sale sphere and now I can share my experience. Socratus is the new exciting project which amazed me. It is an insurance ecosystem which provides a digital platform for insurance companies. The aim of this project is to create a win-win insurance.
it is definitely worth looking at

I will give you advise based on what i lookout for personally before investing into any altcoin. Considering the fact that a good product is one of the major factors that will make an altcoin to last long, i ensure that the product must have first been adopted before i invest into such coin. Other factors are good team as well as the historical data on the altcoin.

find out the team that is behind the crypto you'd like to use for investment. This certainly will make a determination whether it could succeed and whether or not in the future. Moreover, in the long term investment is certainly needed a strong crypto and can survive for a long time.

Hello Everyone, I'm very new to Altcoins, Cryptocurrencies In General. I'm Looking for someone's advice that has been around for a while to kind of give me some tips or pointers on how to spot legit coin's, what to look for before investing. Really just any guidance on a basic level would be greatly appreciated.

Before I was in the field of bitcoin I also do not know much about investment because there are so many scams but with the help of our bounty we can know if you chose to invest correctly but we still need to study it and research into increasing knowledge in the field of investment.

Before we know more about altcoin, it would be nice to know the extension of altcoin itself, because I feel it is a good way to help take me there and learn some things without really losing a lot of risk. It really makes me drift over how there's so much to learn.

it would be better if you just read the guides for newbies, it can be found on every section, there's a lot of newbie thread to guide you, you just have to do some exploration.

You start first by studying and understanding why Bitcoin exists in the first place. I started out as studying basic economics for whatever happens to the economy will definitely influence the lifestyle of every individual. I was so ignorant about the importance of the economy at first until I experienced something challenging lately regarding medical matters. I then realized that not all people could get healthcare and that if you want to live, you'd need to have a lot of money to be able to save yourself. That's the time I realized that my work is not enough for me to save myself nor anyone in my family. And it then further gave me realizations that it just won't save myself now but as well as my future self. So I started to learn why is this and clearly it has something to do with how the whole global economy evolved through numerous fiscal policies and regulations done not by the government but by the central banks. It's all because of inflation that we now experience the current state of the global economy. 3 years later, I have found a gem that would help me beat inflation for the long term and that is an artificial intelligence that would leverage the crypto market space. There are risks in investing. My advice is to study first but if you'd let me shill (even though I am not) about it, the coin is called PCL aka Peculium

As far, as you are a newbie, I would recommend you to buy only tested and overall accepted currencies like the top 10 from the coinmarketcap, or similar rating sites. By doint that, you would secure yourself from scam coins.

Go for Bitcoin or Ethereum, the second one is the king of alternative cryptocurrencies, so you can call it a work with alts, lol. I was investing only in top ones, because at the beginning, I was highly afraid of scam everywhere.

There are lots of coins available over the market and which one is promising is very hard to find for the newbie
Its better to have a research by investing your time in it because investing time here will not leads you in regret for your investments its better to have a thorough research over the altcoins in which you want to invest because you dont want to be scammed over the market
And its better to invest your coins in a scattered amount as this will save from all the loss at once, pick those coins which are in  Big exchanges so your trust issues can be resolved here , watch for good projects and also compare coins with each other
You can even search for the trending altcoins in the market but better not to be blindfolded when it comes to investment.

If you want to invest right now, then consider the stable coins ETH NEO. and the other coins need to be studied in detail at first.

The best suggestion from me is choose a good project before blindly investing in a coin. There are various ways through which you can get a good project and maybe they will help you. First of all, you should research yourself. Join peer-to-peer discussion, look at a project team, its features, join bitcoin forum etc.

That Seems like sound advice to me.. Right now I'm in the Airdrop for PRIV Coin, but other then that I haven't really invested in anything.. Its allot to read through and even when I Find a coin that seems like it may be worth while, I google it and find mixed reviews all the time.

experience is the best teacher, then you should seek experience in cryptocurrency first
do not be afraid to try something new on cryptocurrency, because altcoin and bitcoin will give you so much experience
currency is only a cover only, while the contents are technology blockchain, miners, token utility, smart contract, and so forth

Sometimes it is wrong to hodl an altcoin if the sustainability of the project is very low. If you feel the project is not enough good, it's better to sell the token early. Being a bounty participant, don't hesitate to sell and dump tokens.

Since you are new in this kind of field, make some sort of studies and reviews about how this crypto industry works. Well, no one will probably make assurance that a project proposed is legit or not. In this case, let us consider the framework of the platform, its team member, its roadmap that discuss the development of the project and the whole talk abouts how this project is doing.
