Agree, the good old time of x1,000 x100 is now long gone... we have to reduce our expectation to x5 x 10 now and eventually, an ICO that wont drop below ICO price is consider good projects. Try reading through the ICOdrop stats, many stupid ICOs are below ICO price, I dont understand why people are so dump investing in those total scam projects

From my experience i am telling

= First learn everything ,  where i can learn ? answer is bitcointalk.  take time read all the posts in alt coin and bitcoin section. This forum's is the key for a newbie. i also in two years back , learn A-Z from this.

= Learn at least this Technology for 3 months. Study the patterns in each coin , specially potential coins. How i find potential coins, its most coming by experience , at the moment ( QUARK CHAIN,PCHAIN,PHANTASMA,)

=Keep your private things in safe. if you earn billions also worthless if unsecured. Please keep your private Key in top secret Place. Under any circumstances do not give it away. when Airdrop filling please beware of Public key to enter

=Dont go for too much hodl. Some coins have potential only for 3 months , then it goes to hell.

= Try to USE an APP to see your portfolio. be update always. Some are saying invest now and forget 2 years and see. Thats completely wrong.

Good recommendations for beginners and for medium learners. I would like to add that one must not panic sell especially when they are holding long term coins like ethereum and bitcoin. If one coin wil not recover for two months, it will surely keep on dropping.

I think the best way to make money is day trading. There's no way a beginner can make big profits out of it tho, so you got to start with pen & paper trading in the beginning. After you start feeling comfortable with the trading, and make profit regularly, you can start trading on a platform with small amounts. Thank you for this, I also learned this line, I keep always holding particular coin before, but I keep always losing the value of it if I keep holding it. Now, I know when to sell, specially I am also participating in some ICO, there are some ICO now that is good in their 1st to 5th months after the release of their token. To be honest after I read this post I said to myself this guy I am impressed with the advises he gave us. Though I am still struggling with the excel spreadsheet part as I am not really like the organized guy who keeps tabs of his trade. I am not really a trader, I work bounties and getting paid by the bounties, I then decide whether to make those bounties into bitcoin or eth or consume them on their projects or just hold. That is it. If tokens or coins I hold upped in value then great if not then I move on to the next bounty.
