You can invest in those new concept/product icos too. So check the originality of the project and see if it is useful in the long run for the crypto community and blockchain tech in general.. that's where a part of your investment must go! Axample of good ico is Arround https://arround.io This is cool because it is a fusion of augmented reality and blockchain ..

XTZ, Waves, NEO, MSP

These I think personally would do wonders in the long-run vs where they are right now. Personally don't have much in waves and NEO anymore but I would If I could.

if you want to invest long term, of course you should invest on ICO since many good ICO are still launching today, divide the investment into ICO that really worth to invest.
That's too risky, but if happened that you select an ico that will deliver after, a big chances to earned a lots of money from a project that can create another huge momentum from this market, else, you can go and study those top 20 coins inside the market and review their progress, they are just
waiting for the bull to run back and for sure after bitcoin start to bounce back those alts will also come back and bring decent profits for their supporters
who believes in their projects.

Before you consider making a long term investment, you have to study the market and be sure of what you are going into. Consider ETH and make researchers on projects currently on ICO.

Maybe it's better to invest in ethereum. That's probably the right altcoin in my opinion but you have to invest in bitcoin. And besides ethereum it might also be possible for someone to suggest installation in an altcoin which is for the long term other than bitcoin.

Actually bro you can spreate your money as two part to invsest both side. If you wanna direct to alt-coins, you should search well to all basic altcoins like a ethereum, Cardano or VeChain. All of these are good and effective to bring money.

There are now thousands of projects on the market. We know only some of them. Most of these projects are projects we have never heard of. But this does not mean that they are unpromising. There are a lot of future industry leaders among them.

The fact that you're a rookie doesn't absolve you of responsibility for your investment. To understand and understand what you should, and what you should not invest you need to read a lot and learn different information about certain coins. That is, to view a list of the most popular coins, to understand each of them and decide for yourself whether it is interesting or not? And only after that to invest. Coins huge a lot, but good for the truth is not so much. So go ahead, study, analyze and buy!

Invest in projects that have a product, which have a development, that do not stand still, I think that such projects have a chance of success, so just invest slowly and analyzing the situation.

GoChain has an active mainnet running at 1300 Transactions per second, with transactions confirmation times of approx 4-6 seconds on the blockchain. It is 100% Ethereum compatible, however instead of using Proof of Work, it has Proof of Reputation, which is 10x more decentralized than Ethereum and 1000x greener. There are 10 companies that are built or building on the network (Veritoken, Solaster, Enterprise, Job.com, PrimaBlock, MuiltiSender, Monarch, TrueDeck, MBYS, Esprezzo), and it has its own decentralized exchange GoDDEX for ICO’s. It is currently listed on Binance, Upbit, Bittrex, Kucoin, Bilaxy. The team is top notch – at the helm is CEO Jason Dekker who has extensive experience in hedge fund management (managed over $250m USD in assets), the CTO, Travis Reed is experienced in building apps and infrastructure (Achieved 1 million TPS with Iron.io). GoChain has a partnership with Microsoft Azure to drive enterprise adoption of blockchain-based customer support services. With a market cap of $37m it is extremely undervalued.

in my opinion aside from Bitcoin that is worthy of being a long-term investment is Ethereum because only Ethereum can balance and compete with Bitcoin, so I'm sure investing in Ethereum will give you big profits.

Surely EOS must be a contender with all the ETH they raised from the ICO.

There are so much perspective altcoins that you can use to multiply your deposit. I think that altcoins will give you higher profit than BTC. Look at Ethereum (the best altcoin that was ever created), NEO ( a great chinese alternative to ETH) and IOTA (I wonder why this coin is still so cheap at the moment).

If you want 6x or 10x you can invest ethereum bro.
If you want 50x 60x you need to find 50m 100m marketcap coin.
If you want 100x 200x you need to find 5m 10m marketcap coins
Surely ethereum is the safest option and these 5m marketcap coins are the risky options.
But that is like in our lives. If you want to earn more you need to risk it.
I cannot advice to you any altcoin because you need to do your research. Only i can say ethereum :=).

Start your research by looking at top ranked coin in coinmarketcap.com. Most top coins except for stable coin like Tether are good to invest in.

You need to invest neo. Because neo reach 200 dollar value in last bull market you know. and too many icos trying to create nep5 tokens on neo blockchain. and now neo have their own dex.
In next bull market i am sure neo will be reach at least 500 dollar price tag.
