Yeah, ultracoin sux. Dev says "14 days" and then 14 days becomes 14 hours. And fucker deletes messages that he doesn't like.

I thought it had become obvious hours before the launch time, that there were problems with the pools. And it became obvious after the launch that most people hadn't a clue how to go about solo mining. So not all the developers fault...

But it is about time that all the coin developers, and pool developers, and exchange developers, and any other developers realised that should check and double check everything is working as it should BEFORE making any announcements, NOT as soon as they think they've had a cool idea, otherwise there is going to be trouble. And when they plan to launch they should already have a team of support staff trained and ready to go. Why think that one or two devs can deal with a potential world-wide group of angry miners?

Have read the ultracoin topic when it first announced the coin.

Desided then already that I woudnt go mine ultracoin.

I'm happy I stayed with Klondike coin today.. at least thats a coin with 0% pre-mine, zero complaints about launch. Dev's BUYING their own coin, because they believe. And has a roadmap with many awesome things plannend.

To be sure, I just read the ultracoin topic again:

- 2% premine
- 0.1% for dev and founder (=distraction, read further!)
- Selling 1.6% instantly through a bidding system. Minimium of 0.5btc for 10k coins. They had 1.6 mio for sale. That's minimum of 80 (EIGHTY) bitcoin they earned if everyone was betting at minium bet.

LETS PLAY THAT LAST ONE AGAIN: first they just blunty sell 1.6 million coins for 80 bitcoin (76.000 dollar's) and besides that keeping 100.000 coins (worth 5 btc at their min. bid price) for themselfs because of time and effort. I can understand the effort and time investment. But why then also sell for 80btc coins? They made way more with that then the 0.1% they are keeping. That 0.1% just a DISTRACTION from the real deal.

In other words: they pretend they only keep 0.1% of coins mined, but just sold 1.6 million for 80btc.. LOL. Dumping their own coin > before it hits any exchange. Compliments for dev and founder. Wish I made this up and made almost 100.000 dollar in a day.

45 bitcoin each for a coin that exists not even 24 hours. Big compliment to the founder and developer. Wish I made up this scheme myself. If this coin dies tomorrow, the founder and dev have made a year salary (each) in a single day. Will they still care for what happens with this coin? I feel sorry for all who bought ultracoin today.

I was and will stay mining at a way more serious coin with 6 actives dev behind it: klondike.

Been watching this fiasco...Work thru the night and no official pool at launch    IMHO the devs are pretty incompetent at giving it a fair launch...so I wouldn't put too much hope on this one now...they spend too much time raising their 80 BTC rather than working with pools to get a good launch.

Worst , the premined coins were distributed to false identity ..false pool operator ...false devs etc ...in fact all premined coins are in the hands of some peaople ..to justify the 2 millions.
Same shit about the pre-order : i promise you will not find one guys which had his bid accepted by mail ..before the launch ^^

Cool, I think this coin is intsamined like a shit. I mined 8 hours with 2 Mh/s and got only 100 coins. But... I saw sell orders on >1000 just after the launch when pool wasn't started. Returned back to LeafCoin.

I was definitely hoping that it all went smooth on roll out.   I didn't have any luck solo and wasn't going to do invite pool.

Been still keeping an eye on it though.  Seems at least there are 2 pools getting good hash and showing blocks at least.
