I think we're waiting for that guy over in the subreddit to leave. Honestly, what nerve. I don't spend my time going into other coin subreddits to shit all over someone else's coin. Practically every scrypt coin right now is, more-or-less, a clone of litecoin but with some changes. I say people are free to do what makes them happy and what they believe in. We are free to push topcoin because we all know that topcoin has value. You could argue any coin has value (except Coinye). Even Galaxycoin found a market and from what I have heard it is practically broken.

The cryptocoin market is not going away any time soon and neither is topcoin. People can make as many bitcoin-litecoin clones as they want and sell them to the public any way that they want. When someone spreads awareness of a coin like topcoin, it means that that person knows that coin is valuable and will become more valuable with time and increased awareness and more investors. I see nothing wrong with pushing an investment you believe in. Because if you know the value will increase, you want as many people to make money from such a great investment as possible.

But that gets rather difficult when we have to endure the occasional cries of "scamcoin" and "pump&dump". I feel like every other coin went through situations similar to this. Lots of people were afraid the entire thing was a scam. Even I first thought so when bitcoin showed up. It was new and promising, but I was scared away by people decrying it as another investment scam when in fact it turned out to be the greatest investment so far this century.

This is definitely not the last time we will hear things like this thrown at topcoin, but it means we are making progress. There will always be backlash against new and popular coins, but so far we have seen that those coins that endure the harshest criticisms emerge as market front-runners. You are here because you believe in topcoin. We all do. The harsh words will pour in, and we will move onward, unfazed. And when we finally do reach the top, make sure to give our loudest critics some topcoins for their troubles

Not worried too much, IMO Top is still going strong right now. Not even a little worried. Right now just going to watch how things unfold, offer support where I can with my slightly measily 500k. I don't expect to get rich quick, that's not what I'm here for. Most of us know that this is all a timed investment. Everyone out there saying "I'm going to sell at 100 satoshis!" is just as bad as the ones wanting to sell at 3 satoshis IMO. This, like all other coins is a game of patience.

I don't expect to get rich quick, that's not what I'm here for. Most of us know that this is all a timed investment. This, completely. Most every coin never just disappears overnight. The coins stay, miners continue to mine them, and the coins are transformed by their community into something with real value. For a good example of the staying power of coins, go look at the highest-profitability coins right now on coinwarz or coinchoose, and then go look at how long the top coins (no pun intended) have been around. The business of cryptocoins is one of months, not weeks.

The problem is to get this higher we already need to buy 5,760,000,000 coins that were mine on the first day or 288BTC when everybody from the first  2 days will sell their coins at 4 satoshis. I've missed the first 3 days, so i don't know how many miners there were on those days, so how much big bag holders we have... because when people have mine 100,000,000 coins in one day then i'm sure that they want to take those 5BTC of profit, maybe they are smarter and wait longer...

I would suggest to buy coins and not really mine coins, unless you have a 20000kh/s installation or so. I've been mining all day with around 1200kh/s and i have something like 400K, is that a lot? Not really, those it make sense to continue mining, yes, because one day i believe it will hit a nice high number. Those it make sense to buy it directly from the exchange, yes, i buy from time to time.
