this coin still making me nervous... all my friends dumped but im still holding onto my 5 mil... i could sell now for almost $250 or should i hold strong.... seems like a lot of dumping at cheap amounts right now

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

about the guys dumping coins for dust on exchanges.....
THIS IS HOW THE SCAM WORKS:
An INVESTOR looking to get rich wants to BUY new coins for "DUST"
(1) He creates MULTIPLE accounts...
(2) He dumps coins for "dust" using 1 account
(3) He quickly buys them back using a 2nd account
This fudges the last BUY & SELL trades to trick people into thinking their coins have NO value
abd that you'd better hurry up and SELL now for nothing, before your coins become worthless....
this is stupid! But this is how those scamming traders/investors F-CK us miners out of our coins!
Then they sell YOUR coins next week for 10, 100, or 1000X what they bought them for!
Also, miners have no patience in the markets --- always wanting an instant trade ( gimme BTC/LTC Now! )
The investors know this, and sit back while you miners keep trying to undermine one another and
dump your coins for less and less than the other sellers ( desperate to get a very small amount of BTC )
If miners understood this and work with each other, rather than against one another,
then you will receive fair trade values and get good exchange rates....
Leave your coins for 24hrs on a sell order ( dont worry if they dont sell in an hour or two )
check back the next day and often you will find someone bought YOUR coins for a much HIGHER rate!

Restart your wallet, and try sending a smaller amount first. lol, found the fault....thanks anyway. When i mine the pools sends all the small txs, but if the tx is greater than 100KB then it won't send. better to get >10k tx at a time...... had mine set on 1..... |

Ofcourse we lost a lot of miners too when the block reward drop to 15K, that is also very low... I think it was better to make sure that the min block size was 50K per block, as in two days we will again lose a lot of miners, and when it hits 1 nobody will be interested in mining. The faucets give you more coins then when you would mine it for one day.
So honestly i would suggest that DEV modify the block sizes from 1 Topcoin per block to 10K or more, so that people are still motivated to mine.
Why does it matter if the majority of miners go? This is the whole purpose of Top. Technically the coin only needs 1 computer mining to function. Many people mine low diff coins just for the fun of getting blocks, so i cannot see that there would be no miners at all. |

A 51% attack would be possible if most miners leave, however there should still be some interest on the coin to keep it healthy. If TopCoin gets more attention, it is actually exposed to an attack by the time it comes to 1 coin per block -if someone wants to ruin the coin or to kill the market share if it becomes more prominent-. I think that reorganizing block rewards should be considered. It would be pretty interesting if, rather than staying at 1coin/block, it would slowly climb up again to a certain reward to recover miners. Even so, we should organize the community to keep working on TOP and stop dumping it. I would love to see a true association behind this. Edit, btw what's missing to hit coinmarketcap? |

It'll be interesting to see this one play out, not sure it'll be a classic pump and dump. After 40 days it'll be down to 1 TOP per block and there will be about 6 billion (half of all available) mined. It will probably be carnage when it first hits the exchanges but a solid steady rise after that as the dumpers distribute the TOPs around. Probably a good hold this one.
