I've been in the coin-game a long time and let me give you some advice: Hold on to your coins as long as you can. Crypto-currency is the new paradigm.

I've never seen a coin such as TopCoin and trust me when I say this has serious potential. The design from a financial analyst's viewpoint is top notch and encourages growth and value.

Care to elaborate on that?

Supply will go LOW and more LOW and more LOW.
So, in couple of weeks, even with regular network hash, it'll be nearly impossible to collect much coins.

Example: (approx values):
Block 0-5xxx: 1 mil reward
Block 5xxx-10xxx - 500k
Block 15k+ - 250k
Block 20k+ - 125k
Block 25k+ - 75k
Block 30k+ - 37.5k

Basically, after that it's all closer to couple of thousand.
By this rate, and increase of network, we should get there in 1.5 month top.
By that time dumpers will dump, and it may be stabilized all together.

My point - after a while - no amount of hash will be enough to mine enough to dump and destabilize coin growth.

EDIT: and with network closing to 1GH/s, it's already hard to mine as is.

So, when the coin becomes hard to mine - and everyone is sitting on them to wait for value - err.. what is going to get people to exchange them and use them?

I am mining it, for fun.  Never had a wallet +1Mill of coin. Don't get me wrong.. would love the price to match or beat Doge in price... but volume?

Well, fair enough.
Since there is also ZERO PREMINE; in some time - community will have to get involved a lot.
It's late here, but tomorrow I can probably contact dev and sum up some people to start working on shit. Smiley
(not long here, any established members interested in growth may also step in, it would be awesome)

Is anyone working on a gambling site or anything?
If we can demonstrate some real economy behind this coin it would be easier to get on an exchange.

- Total coins will be 11.52 billion coins

And Doge, will be much more than 100 billion.

<-- is confused. I thought there was already a premine proven?

I apologize if I'm wrong on this. Like to know though.

Read post up; please. I covered some thoughts (not much lol) there.
So, my suggestion would be:

PREREQUISITES:
- several people interested in this, possibly with various skills (programmers, designers, etc)
- mechanism of donation/rewards for people who do stuff

a) block explorer - to start with
b) some faucets
c) organized giweaways
d) fun sites, gaming sites
e) more serious shit (like coinpayments and such)

And then we see...
