With the fee concept for ICOs, I think scams can be avoided. Mosylt scams won't pay the fee, so people won't have to worry about them. If other countries do legalise few coins then I think it is a good sign for those coins and their value can easily increase in near future.

There 7 cryptocurrency that are legal in thailand , its Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Ripple, Litecoin, and Stellar. They also regulate the ICO. Now ICO can't be traded with fiat anymore and there is a fee for license.

http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/thai-sec-confirms-ico-tokens-will-not-be-traded-against-fiat-currencies/

What do you think about this regulations? I think its fair enough and i do think in few months 7 of this coin value could be increasing if more country has the similar regulations such as thailand.

In my opinion it is a type of the formalities that the government of Thailand did , No doubt that they made rule but here we should see that they are totally outside of the line of the work in the field of cryptourrency with fiat system .
Let see that they have restricted the trading of token with fiat , Ofcourse doller is not fiat of the thiland and also people in thiland can buy bitcoin and another altcoin asset to make buy of tokens in the ICOs project and this will clearly Result into easy to run ICO without any type of restrictions , so here rules are just formalities only .
And also here the rule of the legalisation of the fee Cryptourrency is not a big deal because they can't have background transaction of the another cryptourrency at exchange ( only a written data to buy and sell coins ) , so clearly here everything is open to work and there is no restriction .
Here I will hope that same types of the rule enter in the another countries where bitcoin is still not legalised and regualted yet .

I think having strict regulation for ICO would make it possible for innocent investors to be protected from being  cheated, alot of individuals out there come up with eye catchy ICO's all in the name of making people get rich quick and at the end of the day they lose everything. The crytocurrency market would be set back if relevant regulations are not imposed on ICOs.

While some regulation might help, I don't like the idea of a bunch of crypto-illiterate old farts creating laws to regulate crypto.

The existence of strict regulation, the ICO will make this business unprofitable. Now there are many regulatory mechanisms in Fiat and what did it save you from scams? It seems to me that attempts to impose regulation of ICO projects is a disguised desire to destroy a competitor and save the stock market from collapse.

I think there should be a agreement between cryptocurrencies and government that they will give enough free to the users of cryptocurrencies. They will give the limit of giving tax. But this are not so easy. Because bitcoin and cryptocurrencies has no control.

Unfortunately, attempts at regulation are unavoidable. the state is afraid of losing full control over the money issue and yet does not know what to do with crypto. hence the foolish rules and regulations.

Regulation of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies around the globe keeps on increasing. This will let more people to to engage into crypto related business and other related activities with confidence. Legalizing of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies around the world is required in large scale to move forward focusing growth.
I do not like the idea of having more regulation in the market but I also recognize that it is almost inevitable that we get more regulation since governments are focusing more and more in cryptocurrencies since they have realized that they are a real threat to the stability of their economies, but it does not matter what they do at the end cryptocurrencies will be successful and their attempts at regulating the market will fail.

Somehow it protects the investors from scam ICO`s and more verification is needed. But on the other hand it can act as a reverse strategy for the mission of the crypto in general regarding centralization.

I don't think bitcoin is as much threat to economic stability of some countries as it is for people with political power and authority. Bitcoin makes people look at the fiat money and taxation systems from a different perspective which is not appreciated by a lot of politicians.

That is a very good news to hear. A country who actually accepted crypto currency and actually regulated it so that the people who wants to join in will be protected. I just hope more crypto currency will be accepted snd more and more countries follow Thailand's footsteps in accepting crypto currency in their countries.

Having Regulation is good to perform so that we can manage the currency that we have and make it legalise. By creating a regulation we protect our bitcoin and also the investor for the scam.

no offense, but I do not think Thailand has any effect on the crypto economy, but if the regulation starts in China, and contains positive things, it might change the current market condition
because China has the largest users who have cryptocurrency

When the legalization of cryptocurrency comes to life then we all know that there is a need for cryptocurrency to be regulated so the users or people who are in the cryptocurrency will know their limit of using cryptocurrency to their country and also to avoid the people who will abuse cryptocurrency so there will be in control of this new type of opportunity.

Some countries in the world have adopted and have their own rules to make the currency market more stable and more legitimate, for example, singgapo or swindler who accepted the bitcoin deal.

there are definitely good effect of legalizing ICOs, and you are right being well regulated attracts more investors that will put their investments in cryptocurrencies, more demand means more profit, what baffles me is that why did they prohibit trading against fiat, those ICOs will be deemed worthless, if left not traded.
