My friend in Canada told me that bitcoin payment has been used in KFC. What does that mean?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I don't think this is a common phenomenon. It may just be a publicity among several KFCs that they are trying to attract customers, and they will not always do this.Maybe just try for a few weeks.

It is really a big news in the current market dip. I think if KFC of all branches accept bitcoin as a payment option, a big demand as well as market flow would be generated. And it will affect on the price of bitcoin entirely.

It is a pretty old news so it has nothing to do with the current market dip in any way. KFC started accepting bitcoin payment through bitpay back in January, 2018. And no, we haven't yet seen any significant impact on the market due to this adoption news. It's an old news bro  This happens when the time Bitcoin and other alternative crypto currencies are sky rocketing to the moon.  It is a pretty old news so it has nothing to do with the current market dip in any way. KFC started accepting bitcoin payment through bitpay back in January, 2018. I think KFC that time just wanted to join the Hype of Bitcoin early January and also some exposure to promote their company, I don't think that people will be interested on buying a KFC bucket meal using Bitcoin because of the high fees at that time.  |

as avikz said this is old news.
what it means is that it just shows to the whole world that bitcoin is a currency and a very good one at that. this is one of many different real world use cases of bitcoin and in short this is why bitcoin price rises in the long term whereas everything else drops in the long term. because bitcoin has real usage.

Yes it is, but still if KFC accept it, it doesn't mean mass adoption. Clever move on their side though, virtually no risk for the products they are selling and long term reward for sure. |

This is not very new but yeah I think from this year it is possible. This means that they are experimenting with crypto to see how many new customers they can get onboard and to see if people are ready to pay with cryptocurrency. Many online places or yet KFC (which has physical stores) are looking into accepting crypto because they hope to aquire more customers that way. Few of them really do because they support it. But WHY doesn't matter as this brings us closer to addoption |

So good to hear that. It is good news to bitcoin. That will be means bitcoin are continuously spreading and increasing to it's adaptation. So it also proven that if there are many negative and bad news about it that spreading worldwide it's been a nonsense and also it always depends on people and the government on how they can understand and believe to bitcoin system. There are still a huge of people that are really open minded and not easily believe in the news and they are first thing to do is making a deep research and study about btc to confirm and be clear anything about it. |

It is a good thing that they accepted Bitcoin as payment, it is a good publicity for both bitcoin and KFC. It can influence other people to look positive way in Bitcoin rather than throwing nonsense negative issues, which mostly not true. People now can understand what's the use of bitcoin as payment. It can make them to invest with Bitcoin I am hoping that other business will be soon accepted Bitcoin as mode of payment and will give freebies |
