So, there is 25 coins per block

how much time in between blocks? I couldn't find that data.

10 minutes right now. 5 minutes after block 5400

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

lol litecoin defeated
1. Premine 99% of coins (10500000/10600000)
2. Pump 1000 btc into it or let the suckers do that for you
3. hurr durr we are bigger than litecoin
4. Dump to 1 satoshi
 Grin

Not yet .. as long as the developer doesn't try to scam (all the addresses that have 10.5 coins are listed publicly), expect prices to keep going up

best case scenario, might be if the gov of iceland decides to accept this free gift,

and gov gets involved to help ensure that everyone in iceland gets the promised coins.

worst case scenario: gov in iceland bans(makes illegal) auroracoins

so, when is block 5400 going to happen? why decrease the time between blocks, that will make more coins and deflate prices

http://explorer.auroracoin.eu/

10 more days?

It's not going to change anything as reward is halved too

Block reward will be halved as well, so coin supply will remain the same.

Agree. It's a complete farce. This sort of BTC can only come from one place - and we know tens of thousands have gone walkabout.....

Why would MTGox theifs be pumping it? They could rather cash out and pocket the fiat currency.

I can see you are not thinking at big level . Today MT.Gox started the persecution and investigation too look out for them . It were too easy BTC - Fiat . They need too launder in alt coins investments . Good luck . If you want a fair launch coin & without premine , with a lot of real life merchants and even pawnshops and it's meant for many years too live and has already 1 year of life on crypto world i will go for Franko .

you can clearly see the coin is being HEAVILY manipulated atm...... but fools will follow into the slaughterhouse.

There is  only human psychology involved, not deliberate manipulation. 99% of coins are locked up and can't be traded. Only few coins are available on exchange sites. People see the market value and change in last 24 hours, so they want to buy it. That in return increases the price even more and the cycle continues.

There is no manipulation but human psychology.

No one has enough coins (except the 10.5 million locked up) to crash the prices

The prices are not going to crash before March 25 -- and even then it will only happen if air drop is  a scam or very large percentage of icelanders claim the coins and immediately cash out.
