I have been wondering the reason people go into prostitution, some people will say it is because of poverty,  well am not quoting them wrong but I think there are other things that can actually lead people to prostitution aside poverty. I have come to discover that rejection can actually lead people prostitution, some people have never felt loved accepted even by their own parents, no one have ever hug them or even clean their tears, they show love but are not loved back. Come on, are you serious right now? don't you think that woman could do that because she has no choice? Imagine the 30 year divorced woman, that lives in a small town with 2 or 3 children. She has no education because she got married when she was 18 years old. Now she is alone. Husband does not help, he does not care about children. What is she supposed to do?  Just imagine she has to feed and raise three children alone. Do you really think that she can earn enough money at the "simple" work like waitress?

I think the reason why people lead in prostitution is that they need money to sustain there family or they siblings. She/He is the only person work for their family and maybe She/He does'nt have an opportunity to go in school and learn to has a good work and future.So that,they use their body to earn money.

Prayers can't soothe a grumbling stomach. Can't say about those first two countries but it's definitely illegal in PH but people do it anyway to support their family. Oh there can be a lot of reasons and many variables but from my experience (a friend of mine was one for a while) it seemed like it was a way for easy money attention and power. He is a gay male and I think he liked the fact that people would actually spend money to have sex with him it boosted his confidence in himself. on my own opinion, i would say the three main causes that can lead to one going into prostitution are:
1st, poverty, when there is no other form or manner at which one can be able to fend for the family.
2nd, rejection, when you never get to feel loved and cared for even by those closest to you.

I agree with you, and that would be the case IF she ever got a job as a waitress or anything like that, usually when you have kids you can't get any jobs, people don't want to hire you since you are a liability. I went through something like your describe. I was 30, divorced and with no education, I had an 8-year-old and no one would give me a job. Its usually just not able to find job and its the only one that can make a person survive. There are mothers who actually become prostitutes and I don't think you can blame them when they just want to put food on the table for their kids. You can understand that when you experience it yourself that doing everything for someone/kids is more important than hunger. I agree with all your points, but I think you are missing the most important one, being exploited. A lot of woman are forced into prostitution against their own will. Human trafficking is still a huge problem in todays society. I am not very familiar with the subject but I saw a few documentaries about how many woman are promised a better life and then they just disappear each year and are being travelled all around the world just to make some money for the criminals.

Some girls do that because of money to survive. I watch on television telling the story of them and many of them go that way because of their needs and their family. They had to do that because they do not have other ways to make money. But they want to change if they can get a new job that does not relate to what they did.

But if you look deeper into it, you will see that most of those who use this as a reason have issues with self-worth, or are living in a situation wherein they are very desperate for money and no longer see any glimpse of hope to get out of their position.

If women go into prostitution, and they're paid well, it's the opportunity to earn a lot more money in a short period of time, so they can pay for their rent, for their basic needs.

I have been to places where they have live-in prostitutes. In my opinion, i think one of the reasons why people go into prostitution is because of  peer group influence assuming the individual is not being trafficked. Their friends of the same age group are looking good. The have latest gadgets. They wear the latest designer tees, bags, perfumes. They have of lots of cash to show off too  while they are in college struggling to make "A's and B's so that in 5 years to can be well off as their friends. But then, their friends are well off without a college degree and a "real-job". In these places, young females are implored by their friends to focus on the "positive-side" while downplaying the "negative-side". Even when they want to quit it is such a hassle because they are already hooked on it and the lifestyle associated with it. People go into prostitution for several reasons - peer group influence is definitely one of it.

I don't really think it's poverty, as there are high class prostitutes who have lots of money. Sexual lust is the root cause. People under its power will always try to satisfy it through various means including prostitution. They pay rewards to satisfy their sexual urge.

There are great benefit of avoiding sexual sin, and not avoiding it has serious consequences. The one who attack people with lust is aware that part of the consequences gives him edge over those controlled by lust.

Depends on who is paying them.
