I pay close attention to the critics of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I listen whose guys: Bill Gates, Buffet and some others. But despite a lot of criticism I believe in crypto, I keep my ETH coins and feel optimistic.

No celebrity is an authority for me to invest in this or that project. Most often they do their work. But I'm definitely grateful them for the fact that they popularize and promote the phenomenon itself - the cryptocurrency.

What people need to understand is that these so called celebrities are just doing their job, and most of them do not understand what they are promoting or endorsing, it is left in ones discretion to decide if the project is quality enough  and have a potential for growth and market adoption before you invest into

There is nothing bad if celebrities endorse crypto projects, inasmuch as they know they are doing the right thing and not confusing or deceiving their fans.
I have seen projects of such nature and some of them succeeded.
This is more like a marketing strategy and reputation can be at stake. So those celebrities need to be careful on the type of project to endorse.

I think it could be a consideration in choosing a good crypto as well. celebrities certainly have big names and when they choose the wrong crypto for endorsing their names are certainly also be ugly. you are right, the influence of a public figure is very important to boost promotion. besides they have many loyal followers they also have a good market. not all public figures can promote crypto products, they need to know what they are promoting if they don't want to do something wrong.

how can we even trust these non sense celebrities when they dont even know a thing about the ico or that project that they were promoting and advertising, all i can advise right now is for all of us to read the whitepaper  first before investing in an ico.

No i don't trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies especially if they talk about investment in cryptocurrencies because in my personal opinions i always make analysis fundamental before making investment in cryptocurrencies. I don't like losing my money in cryptocurrencies so i will spend my time and my money to find more information about how to choose good instrument of investment in cryptocurrencies space.

Well still they have been paid to do such that thing, celebrity thinks about the money not the project because they have been paid a lot for sure, so it's better to do research rather than believing celebrity words, they not guarantee you to get great gain from that project, they only do to get more investor

Yes, I have some level of trust on some these celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies because they endorse these cryptocurrencies and ICOs based on past experience, however few of them fake the endorsement, so we have to be diligent in choosing who to trust.

About an year ago, a well-known athlete advertised the project centra. We all know that in the end this project turned out to be a scam. Therefore, celebrities is not a sign of the success of the project.
