There are many involved in crypto who haven't investment anything other than time and effort, i suppose for these people its less of a risk than for someone who may made fiat investment in crypto.   Saying that, i guess it kind of is still a risk, or at least holding onto hope that the time/effort/fiat investment will pay off eventually.   In life, one must take risks (calculated) in order to stand the chance of making healthy returns, whether in crypto or otherwise, the risk takers usually are the successful ones because they are usually willing to put it all on the line in the hope that things will fall into place and they in return will reap the reward.

Investors are already risk takers because they did already invest , which means they are not scared to loose at all . you did also did mention about people with faint hearted , why would you think that cryptos are not built for them? cryptos cant make a person shock whenever they see that the price rise or fall unexpectedly knowing that cryptos are already volatile .
