Karmashares (stakes) is off BTC market on Mintpal. Let`s see how is this going to affect the ecosystem. Seems to be making the KARM/LTC market stronger. Karmacoin already accounts for 30-50% of the LTC market on Mintpal, so there is still strong buying pressure. I just wish BTC would get off its knees  |

heads up everyone on Serious OpenSSL vulnerability on all exchanges. Bitstamp is taking a lot of heat. and that is a huge exchange. I am withdrawing everything from mintpal and bittrex.
if they turn into a crypto rush soon i will lose all my mind.

LOL. No need to panic now. Most exchanges, if not all, have implemented the fix. Bitstamp is not vulnerable to heartbleed although they do not receive the highest scores for security. https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=bitstamp.netMintpal and Bittrex receive the highest security scores at Qualys SSL Labs. Poloniex and Bter scores are slightly lower but are not vulnerable to heartbleed. Still a good idea to go around and change passwords asap especially if you are not using 2FA. Some linux and freebsd operating systems are affected and need ssl upgraded. Ubuntu and Debian issued upgrades yesterday. |

well, yes and no.
you should imminently change your password. especially if its close to any other places you have used it to. Also to keep in mind the exploit has been there since 2012. So these exchanges might have patched it up, but they were vulnerable before.
As far as coins. i just suggested to remove them just in case we don't get cryptorushed,coinmarked. Or don't

Must say
having karmacoin removed from btc/karm market will be a good move for it in future few days.unfortunately. this first two-three days all the volume from btc/karma will move to ltc/karma and there should be some dumping.
after that it will be hard for people to dump millions of coins via mining. Only through trading can you become a millionaire. soon the lack of coins being dumped will create small sell volume. all the buyers will start buying higher and higher in fear of missing out on buying karma cheap.

There is a lot of work being put into karmacoin. a lot of people see potential and are investing a lot of their time. whether it is via marketing or trading.
if you look around, this coin has 3 sites, 1 official forum, 1 share-network. there are few more things setting up that are in the dark now but not easy to spot. People trying to make games. trying to set up a karmaexchange.
all of these are for a coins that is only few months old. there is potential on karmacoin. and everyone is trying to secure their route to potential income.
this is why people are running to find and build anything that will be useful once this coin goes viral. they are trying to secure and be there first.
Almost all the social media are covered. its crazy.
jump on it as soon as you can. figure out something that this coin will need in future and claim it. build it and own it. Join the team of entrepreneurs.
Build a blog, site, game , profit calculation , escrow , meme generator , plug ins, apps , APIs
Get on it before others do.
To clarify: not saying run and buy coins. if you seen my motto, i hate fake hypes! I am saying run and build something for the coin. Remember the old saying " At the gold rush , sell shovels" aka "During the Gold Rush, most would-be miners lost money, but people who sold them picks, shovels, tents and blue-jeans (Levi Strauss) made a nice profit."
