Toothless Arsenal against 10-man Chelsea, they do have a buffer at the top of the table but they are just a bit too defensive at times. Will probably get punished for it at some point in the season.

I am confident Arsenal should have enough to get the win, or in the worse case scenario, not lose, just because we are playing away from home, it surely will be a good watch.

Unfortunately Arsenal still failed to win despite being given a chance in a more free second half... because Caicedo was red carded with a hard tackle on Merino.
Although Chelsea played limping 10 players can still provide resistance. The 1-1 draw proved both teams were on top form.

I could also see Slot winning convincingly to quieten some of the doubts for now.

A breath of fresh air for the slot... Isak scored another goal that he had been waiting for.

And in Superbru it's not too bad anymore with a total of 11 points.

You are a great joker. He literally spent one season at Barcelona B, while Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, and so on had already been playing in the main squad for 10 +- years by this point.

He gave debuts to Busquets, Pedro and some others who were more successful away from the club. He also gave some pivotal roles to other top players. Xavi was a late bloomer in his career, he and Iniesta had their best years under Pep. One would expect they should have been dominating a decade before he got there, they were good, but no where near the level he took them to.

Mourinho had Porto, Chelsea, and other clubs under his belt where he achieved something from scratch (with or without money), but we're not talking about him. The irony is that it was Mourinho who gave Guardiola the boot...

You can only coach the team who want you. Mou will not be at Benfica if other top clubs wanted him.
Pep won 3 league titles on the bounce and 2 UCL titles during that time, suggesting Mou gave him the boot is ridiculous cause he was able to squeeze out a league title. Over the 3-4 years of that rivalry Pep absolutely dog walked him in trophies and style of play. You cannot rewrite that.

I am not even a Pep Stan, but we cannot deny the quality he has and the contribution he has made on the game, the consistency and success he has had over the years

Chelsea were good with 11 and also 10 men. This was surely 2 points dropped, we should be winning with the length of time we played with an advantage. The team has to bounce back now.

Dude isn't beating the gambling allegations anytime soon - he was literally begging for that second yellow, there was only few minutes left and needed that red more than anything else. He kept coming to the ref face unprovoked, got what he wanted and clapped home.

Arsenal got lucky in this one, we could have gone 2+ up before that red if only those bastards up front knew what they were doing. Anthony was too aggressive with the bookings too. Fxkk.

The higher you climb, the more painful the impending drop will be. Been trying really hard myself to crawl out of my miserable position but it's not working out. For every upset I predict, I miss out on the surefires. May I get my yellow cap this round. Everyone must lose!

You are killing it, and if you continue like this you are soon going to be in top 10 positions.
I had a poor last round with only seven collected points, but I am somehow still hanging around 25th place on leaderboard.
It is tricky for me to predict Liverpool and some other teams in Premier League this season, but I am not giving up, and another chance is this midweek.

I expected they will get one big chance after that but Gvardiol was there to deny them on the line. Would have been a big psychological blow for City if they dropped points from that position, almost dropping points could be too.

Newcastle conceded early to deny me points in the pool and also BSFL. A draw seemed like a fair result for both teams.

I was unlucky to have found it early and picked a low score, under 30 goals I think. I need some typical midweek scruffy matches filled with goalless draws.
I got just one point from those 3 early games, hopefully there is more luck on the pool today.

Congratulations! But what's the point now?  Although I just checked and it seems that at this stage of the tournament you can very well get into the prizes if you show consistent results.
Even I, from my 41st place, can get there, but most likely not, since in the Premier League I mostly make predictions of the type “I want this outcome to be”, and not “most likely the outcome will be like this”

Wow yeah seems like it really was easy peasy. Now only 1 game and 3 goals needed. Its not the most worst game to ask for over 2.5 goals either as its Manchester United and West Ham. Would be a real big shame if only 2 goals happened lol

Even if Wirtz had scored goal was credited to him, the final result would still be 1-1 and this is a disaster for Liverpool again, as they lost points in games where they definitely should have had +3 points (with all due respect to Sunderland).
As for one step forward and two steps back, what infuriates me is City - they manage to pull this trick off within one game and as a result not lose points, although they are constantly on the verge of doing so. Other teams except Arsenal are also affected by this, but they are losing points.

I didn't see the Liverpool game but I took Sunderland to win at HT @7 odd with a low stake but that late play from Wirzt ruined it.

Actually he is still way better than Maguire used to be when he made alot of mistakes. Well taking out the captain armband from him could probably help him back in shape, it works on maguire though
