I have only one word to say for Aston Villa this season, AMAZING!
Beating Chelsea is never easy, and it is even harder doing it on Stamford Bridge.

Emery's magic is increasingly felt for now because this season Aston Villa's performance is increasingly looking quite effective especially for their excellent teamwork.

One thing I like about Aston Villa's game today is their presing that does not slacken at all. They know that they won't be able to keep up with Chelsea's game from possession but their pressing and counterattacks are so good that even though Chelsea controlled the field but Sanchez was busier keeping Chelsea's goal from conceding than Martinez in this match.

With Chelsea's defeat, Sunderland now have high hopes of overtaking Chelsea and Manchester United temporarily when they get a win in the match against Leeds tomorrow.

Chelsea 3/1 odds to finish in top 3 also look very generous but I hate long season outright bets unless I'm placing something on 50+ odds.

I think Aston Villa can finish in top 3, but it depends how long they stay in Europa League and balance different competitions.

Yes, long long season left and teams like Aston Villa just like Newcastle when they were fighting, will eventually finish outside. As soon as they have to spread squads across cups and Europe, they start to lose their effectiveness.

A first LFC game missed in a while, I was traveling yesterday. Just watched the full replay and fuck me, that was a terrible 2nd half performance.
Overall barely good enough for the win against the worst team in the league.

It's Leeds next, with Calvert-Lewin in insane form, smart money is on him scoring.
Hopefully we have enough to win the game - not sure how we're in the top 4 with such performances so these games at home against 'small' teams are a must-win for us.

8 for Aston Villa who even their last defeat happened in early November and in the last 2 matches they managed to beat Chelsea and Manchester United? Its insane.

Even if the opponent is Arsenal who are currently top of the table and they are home but those odds are crazy enough for me.
It's just that for betting I personally will also think again for times 2 because this match can be unpredictable so even if it's a big enough odds but for 1x2 I might make this single as a lucky experiment. But for multi bets I would prefer to make this match as BTSS or over 3 because for me this is still possible to happen.
