Tottenham are a very useless club to trust in a big game - it either they're drinking goals or Romero is getting a red card to put the club in difficult situations. I don't know how they manage to do it, but they're been consistently shit against top teams under different managers.

I'm putting money on Liverpool- Manchester city U2.5 goals FT at 2.45

Tottenham are currently 14th, 17th last year. They seem to play poorly against everyone (they only take points from City more or less consistently) 
As for the bet, the odds are good, but BTTS is quoted at 1.46, meaning bookmakers are confident that there will be at least 2 goals in the game. A fine line.
I added a City win to the multi-bet at 2.82. If the bet doesn’t win, I’ll be happy that City is losing points.

I have to agree with 0-0,,, but that is because I want them to draw instead of getting points, especially knowing that a win is harmful to both, and a 0-0 draw will further make them question their existence  

I'm fine with a draw... as long as it ends 2-2 to give us a taste of how exciting the game can be, after all that's the bet they're expected to score.

I just read that Pep only won 1 time in 22 visits to Anfield, wow what a stat that is. In fact the only time they won was when Liverpool already won the title during the Covid season and they were just playing for fun.

Spursy and United were in the same shit hole last season so that doesn't count - it was a scrappy win anyways. Daniel Levy wasn't the problem after all, he stepped down and everything started crumbling ever since.

I never said crosses, I said dead ball situations - meaning set pieces. That is even worse and more boring.
You scored less than 50% of goals from open play this season - and when I last checked you were rated in the bottom 5 in the league for open play goals.

When last did you check? Last time I did we were top 5 for open play goals. I also don't have to check either, highest goals in the bottom half is 34, so except you think we are the only ones scoring set pieces, this is obviously wrong and could also show the bias I have been talking about.

A dull, boring team built for positional play and utilising height advantage. Shame, there are some really good players there.

This clearly shows that bias and it's baffling you can't see it. You have the best team in England and Europe, most goals scored in UCL and 2nd in the league, least conceded, second highest possession in the league, almost playing the highest line in the league but you invent things to criticize them about.

No one is saying you shouldn't score from set pieces, but relying too heavily on every deadball situation is haram, and deploying three players to man mark opposing goalkeepers during corner kicks is also not how football should be played - I've been watching football for decades and have never seen anything like that, and I'm not complaining because Arsenal is doing it; I'd do the same if another team was doing it.

This just looks like some more mental gymnastics. Utilizing and opportunity is not relying on it. I saw some similar takes on social media of United fans switching to "how" we score set pieces now that they score a lot of them, Chelsea score a lot of them too and it's crazy how people will bend over backwards before acknowledging a good team.

I could take constructive criticism of my team, heck I criticize them too on some days, but when it's heavily laced with prejudice, it's not the same thing.

It really stung. I was already banking on an 8 point lead.
I still think that wasn't a clear penalty and if it was not giving VAR would have upheld that decision. There was just enough contact for it to not be a clear cut error.

What is this Premier League season? Is by far one of the worst and best at the same time, i mean aside of Arsenal no team is reliable at all, look at Manchester United they made on of the worst runs in their history but now they win 4 games in a row and..... they are between the top 5!!!!, is crazy.

All the teams are between a few points and you cant never know who is gonna beat who.

Poor Liverpool,,, I think they did not deserve to lose the game what a bad turn to concede and then get their goalscorer sent off, patience my brothers things will turn around, just keep faith.

Difficult to engage un_rank; blinded by love and too fanatic to see the obvious. The season we scored the most goals and conceded less, we played the most boring Haram football ever, don't bring me  "we scored the most goals" excuse. Arsenal is perfect, he sees no fault in his team.

Manchester United and Chelsea are unbeaten in the league ever since they changed managers and both are ahead of Liverpool on the table - sometimes being ruthless solves the problems easily.

I liked Daniel Levy, he was an asshole and difficult to do business with, but he wasn't in for the profits - turned down big cash offers for Harry Kane, Son and Erikson to make the Spursy fans happy at the expense of his own players.

Agreed. Ferguson left Moyes with an old team ( most players were close to 30 ) and that didn't help at all.

I wonder if Liverpool can even get back into the top 5. They're already 4 points behind. Imagine a Champions League with a bunch of teams you don't see every year (unless you watch the Europa League and the Conference League) and Liverpool isn't there. I remember a season like that under the old format, and it was frustrating.
It's a shame I added a City win to the big multi-bet (35+ odds), because of Atletico I lost it and in the end I didn't get any compensation for the fact that damned City continues to hang on Arsenal's tail.

My data is correct, I didn't say you scored the least open play goals but that your percentage of open play goals is among the lowest - which shows that Arsenal does use height advantage more often than not.
Possession in itself is boring. High line just means you've got fast defenders to compensate. You scored a lot of goals but I can't remember 5 of them I'd send to somebody and tell them 'hey, check this out'.

I assume there's a lot of hate online for Arsenal and therefore you're so defensive. I don't read that at all or care about it so if that's the case, you're fighting against the wrong enemy.

But he was in for the profits The biggest reason people was not happy with him was he wanted the club to be profitable longterm in a 'guaranteed' way. That was, to keep being in Premier League, keep being in Europe. No need to win trophies, just keep the club profitable.

Many years he had a chance to reinvest,,, but he chose not to. He was the highest paid exec and he did not treat his employees (who did the work) well,,, so he literally turned the club into moneymaking and purposely just good enough to stay up, but that level kept going down and down.

I agree with you Slot needs to go,last season he got lucky i think and made a huge point gap but this season all of the mistakes they didnt make last season its like they are getting back this season. Im shocked that Liverpool changed their winning team by a lot of players and the mistake come each game. I think Liverpool will be lucky if they finish in top 4 and reach those champions league spots.

I think they need to sack Slot as fast as possible before this season turns into a total disaster for them.

I see your points and agree with them up to a point. This Arsenal team has its exciting moments but they don't end up with goal. I owned Saka a lot in FPL and watched him often, he breaks down that flank and creates opportunities, if only they were scored a bit more often we wouldn't have this conversation.

Now I will switch to La Liga for perfect examples. Atletico Madrid in last few seasons before this one was by far the most boring team for me. It looks ok when they play against top teams but then they play at home against Rayo and win 1:0 with one shot on goal and having ball 25%. I had a misfortune to watch one of those games and said to myself, I pity their supporters that must watch that every other week. Never again have I watched a minute of their game unless it is against top opponent. Arsenal is miles ahead of that and I can watch them every week.

On the other side of the spectrum is Barcelona, they will probably not win a lot of trophies this season, but they are guaranteed spectacle in every game

Whatever it is, it seems like it's affecting some players more than others too... Alisson conceding that penalty (I had to watch the replay though as actually missed it) doesn't at all seem like the sort of move he'd make.

We need to, and can be, better than this. By far. Not too late to save our season but some hard choices really... and if it's to sack the baldie, then so be it.

Saka is a constant in my team. And made no secret my favourite player in England for a while now, and yes, when he is playing, it's old Arsenal: adventurous, pacey, direct. He seems to have really been shadowed by the way the team plays these days. But maybe that's also the games I've watched. Those ugly corner routines are getting uglier by the day. I like the crunching tackles and shoulder checks as much as the next guy but this nonsense of nipple-grabbing neck-wrestling keeper-cockblocking is not Premier football.

In any case, I think this shows how the Premier League is more balanced. There are fewer dominant teams and more competitive teams, so it can vary a lot. A team can go through a terrible run and with 3 or 4 consecutive wins, they're back in the fight for Champions League qualification. This makes the league very unpredictable, but it also makes it harder to trust any favorite.

In any case, I think this shows how the Premier League is more balanced. There are fewer dominant teams and more competitive teams, so it can vary a lot. A team can go through a terrible run and with 3 or 4 consecutive wins, they're back in the fight for Champions League qualification. This makes the league very unpredictable, but it also makes it harder to trust any favorite.

I dont use to buy the "more balanced" argument is only the big teams lost gas and level, believe me i see this everyday here in Argentina and the league only gets worse.


About Arne Slot i feel like he is facing the exact same problem which Simeone has in Atletico Madrid, they had a solid defense with a good punch on offensive, when they tried to be much more agressive in the offensive they lose all the solid defense and the good punch.

It feels like just yesterday it was Matchday 25 and now it’s already Matchday 26. Only a few matchdays left before this league wraps up. Glad to see I’m back in the top 2. Hopefully I can stay in the top 5 until the end. Even if not, as long as I secure a prize in this pool, I’ll be happy.
Anyway, I was really lucky last matchday 25 with Liverpool vs Man City. So many things happened in that game, and I watched it live on my mobile phone. The score could have been 3–1 if Rayan Cherki’s goal had counted. Good thing it was disallowed because my prediction was 2–1 that gives me 3 points..

I wasn't expecting this but it looks like my fortunes won't be as good as before in the pools given the results of the first 4 games.

Look at the second goal that Okafor scored for Leeds, 5 Chelsea players just looked at doing nothing. wtf is that

Those were two avoidable goals but this is another episode of our season. 2 steps forward, 3 steps backwards. Thrown away a good chance to close the gaps on Aston Villa.
