Gordon to Barcelona for €80m I'm not sure how I feel about this deal, but it's very disrespectful to Rashford after the season he had - he was told there wasn't enough money to keep him, and now this. In what world is Gordon worth 80m? And we're demanding merely 120m  for Enzo Fernandez; our sporting directors need to do better.

Looks like Newcastle United has given up on becoming a top 4 team; selling off all their best players and replacing them with woods.

The Sporting directors just signed another under21 player to the first team from Strarbourg just a few hours after Alonso confirmation; they didn't even allow him to take a look around before signing players for him.

The only power he may have would be to manage and appoint coaching staff nothing else..

At least he will have a dressing room that is not filled with egos bigger than themselves and he will be able to get the players to play the way he wants them too and not them doing the coaching like it is at Madrid. I genuinely think he gets you guys UCL football next season with no European commitments, but I do not know who I think drops out from the top 4.

Im also not sure about this transfer, i dont think Gordon is a valuable player for Barcelona and i dont see him being a key player there, but well Hansi Flick is a great coach and im just a guy behind a screen commenting in a forum. 

And as always in this new football, 80m.... just crazy to see this ammounts on this kind of players.

They have been spot on in some of the transfers they have done recently, and maybe this will be a hit too but I have my doubts about it. No doubt he is a very good player is Gordon and he has a high potential to grow but you do not pay that amount for potential.

His wages may be what makes the deal better for Barcelona, it is said that he is taking a much lower salary compared with Rashford but I cannot confirm that yet, reports I see says he is expected to get higher now than he did at Castle.

I think that is a wrong way to look back at a season, they were better at patches of the season which is what it takes to get into the top positions - Villa had a run of 9 or 10 games winning streak, Liverpool had five at the start of the season, United were great second half of the season. Chelsea never had a sustained spell of good form this season, why you stint in the title race was brief, just like last season.

I rate Alonso very highly and think he gets you guys into the Champions league and with some good signings he can even build a disciplined side that competes for the title at some point in the near future.

We never had a sustained period of good form, but we were competing for the title at some point. Held onto the top 2 from the start of the season until mid-January?  Every team had their moments last season; only Arsenal sustained theirs.

If Enzo Maresca had stayed, M. Carrick and Emery would not have finished ahead of him, to be honest.

Man, our free fall needs to be studied - the fall from week 30 was insane even Wolves had a better sustained form spell ( negative way but still better )

Your first couple of signings this window will show the readiness to go for next season, it is obvious the team is not together with the board on their approach. Cucurella spoke about it at the end of the season on the need to get some experience in along with the youth talent your guys are constantly scouting.

You had an unlicensed coach from that point, it is no surprise the club fell off. Now you got one of the best manager available, I hope they let him do his job and not restrict him to just a "head coach".

I don’t think any English team is special at the moment. It’s the lowest quality I can remember, especially with the supposed top teams.

Pep’s peak City, Klopp’s peak Liverpool, Mourinho’s Chelsea of  04/05 and 05/06, United 06 to 09 would have absolutely wiped the floor with the current Arsenal team.

I think Spurs will be a lot better, wouldn’t surprise me if you competed for a CL spot. Spurs have a lot of decent players, it was a bit weird that you ended up in a relegation battle.

De Zerbi is a decent manager, I think he will improve you a lot.

Yes i really want to see Spurs in the next season also since De Zerbi is a coach who makes his teams plays a really offensive and good football which suits really good with the Premier League style so we can see quite a good games when they play against some of the big teams in next season, the main doubt is about which players are gonna remain in the team and who are gonna be the new ones.

I'm honestly curious - we have too many young players coming from loan to the first team this season and some of them are already here.

I honestly do not want any of those players to be anywhere near the first team; exciting talents but that's isn't enough these days.

Bacelona just won the league and they're already in the market to get everything done before " after WC markets"  that's how ambitious club operates.

De Zerbi is very good too,,, but so was our previous managers so something tells me it is going to be more about how he convinces the owners to do what he wants.

Liverpool is also a mystery for us outsiders, you guys had a great squad, and went far in CL,,, kind of like us,,, but in normal games for England it was very weird to play with A class players in B class mentality. You guys will improve though,,, now you no longer have that dumbass I have a bad feeling for all the top clubs when Liverpool clicks. Now it all depends who replaces SLOT.

Your club has launched a full investigation into your medical and training methods; the rate of ACL injury to your players in the past two seasons is abnormal - they were occuring too often and the kneel injury too. We had the same experience under Poch and at some point I thought we were cursed then Enzo Maresca came in and managed the situation perfectly- it has more to do with player's training.

Or maybe they didn't rate him much and that's also valid as he hasn't done much imo. They gambled with Anal slut and it didn't end well - Iraola is more experienced and PL proven, a more better choice than Alonso.

I assume Liverpool were talking to Iraola through the back door; it's fairly common in the English league now- how can I explain to anyone that Iraola left Crystal Palace, and Liverpool fired Anal Slut a few days later to hire Iraola? Shady deal, but I can't prove it.
