Not sure how I feel about him. Doubtless talent but always felt we need more bite in the team once the Klopp stalwarts left. Hope this guy Barcola has some spine in England.

He has everything I would want in a winger, quick feet, pace and ability to work in tight spaces. It's his final product the needs some work, whether it be finishing or delivering a cross, he has a way of making the easy things look difficult.

I'll say you guys need more backbone in the middle of the park where I think you got overrun many of the times last season. I don't think you get that in the transfer market rather but it getting built in the players you already have.

With such a load of experience, if things don't get right with that club like it did with your biggest rival when Michael Carrick arrived, the whole squad needs a change.

No, we'd keep looking until we find our next "Conte" or "Tuchel" who wouldn't have to take forever before competing for titles - is that possible? Yes, we have seen it with Conte and Tuchel.

You now get my point when I argued he's not even worth the current €40 million evaluation today? This surge was previously attached to English players, now everyone wants to have a fair share. FIFA doesn't operate the FFP like UEFA does so it's a big problem for smaller teams imo.

I wouldn't even mind playing a Premier League pool without a sponsor....it's not that I have ever won a prize in Superbru football pools other than several yellow caps

Except for Spurs You guys will win the title but lose to us both games, and we will of course give everyone else points and end up in 2nd.

But you know,,, to be perfectly honest, I think Manchester United have a really good chance this season to take advantage of City and Liverpool being in changes while Chelsea dropping badly and Arsenal the only one to really take seriously?

Now there is little hope for Spurs that they will always avoid the danger zone like the last 2 seasons, the arrival of Tonali and Mateus Fernandez in midfield and getting Robbo despite his old age can add confidence to be able to perform even better this season it will be very regrettable when they spend more than 250 million for this season only for 3 players but it is still difficult to get out of the dark times.

3 big names with transitions but Manchester United also need to see further if Carrick can manage from the start as this season they lost Casemiro as a tank at anchor despite already having Andrey Santos as a replacement but they can't relax for now.
I expect the competition this season to be much more interesting not only about some of the big clubs but the surprise clubs like Sunderland last season also did not decline in terms of performance.

This will be my 4th season IIRC and I have enjoyed every bit of it. It's a shame we lost sportsbet as a sponsor on the forum, it will be a shame if the name of the thread will have to be changed to a new one but a new sponsor is needed so that is bound to happen.

I actually do not mind if there's no sponsor either, just as long as we have our community here.

It seems like the casinos on here are disconnecting from the community; I never imagined we'd miss SB this much after over a year since they left. All football-related pools are still  without sponsorships; this has never happened before and is cause for concern.

2mbtc fee could still give a decent top 10 ( prizes) only if we restructure the rewards distribution

Not sure which Spurs you are watching,,, there is always hope they will avoid dangers like the last 2 seasons, by going as close to it as possible. Look at their squad, and remember that 50% is always injured, and then you understand  

It is not a lack of confidence, at least not the whole season. It is just a bit of bad luck and headless chickenry

Little hope ? I would say they should be a top 6 team for this season, maybe not too many teams would have survived the number of injuries that Tottenham survived over the past two seasons, they were completely riddled with injuries across every department of their team from attack to defense, I’d say it’d amazing that they avoid relegation, that would have been a different battle on its own. I like the kind of business they’ve conducted in the transfer market, Fernandes and Tonali should surely help bolster their midfield, while Senesi and Van Hecke are also solid defenders, although, I think they should have done more to not lose Romero, who have been a center figure for them at the back, I’m not sure if Maddison and Solanke would be anywhere close to the level they were, after being out extensively with different injuries, that aside the signs are really promising for Tottenham.

That's unfortunate news. Any chance we still have the comp with just entry fee from participants? I would 100% sign up just for the fun of it and from the thread reactions lots of users will too. It also helps to start something up which can help negotiations with ang potential sponsor (although the past years speaks for itself).

Sad to see the low sponsor turnout around. Laliga began today and the pool is yet to get a sponsor still.

Next week's Premier League will start soon, if there are no sponsors this pool will still run? I want to know the season entrance fee now is it 0.5 mBtc, 1 mBtc, 1.5 mBtc, 2mbtc?

It's a pity there is no sponsor, if this continues as a free pool, I think hilariousandco should consider the option of selling title sponsorship (to increase the prize pool). Imagine if the thread was called:

Sure, but let's also define the buy-in and start applying by ourselves even without the sponsor.
Many of us will play regardless but somebody's gotta take point here. it would be good if it would be you considering you're the pool leader.

If you agree, let's have a short discussion about the buy-in fee, you send a wallet and we start chipping in. Only 5 days left before the Arsenal - Coventry game.

I won't comment about buy-ins because I'll play whatever it is, the sweet spot is probably somewhere in the 1-2mBTC range.

We had 64 participants last season, and I doubt we'll have anything close this season owing to the current situation of things, since not everyone can afford 1mbtc or 2mbtc in this short time frame unless payment is extended till the end of the month. Join and pay later.

I'm okay with anything between 1-2 mbtc also, as long as we have a pool going. It would not matter too much if we do not have too many participants,  those who join will stay committed through to the end and keep it interesting, they would not care too much too about the total pooled amount being lower.Arsenal have been good so far in this first half. I've liked the glimpses I have seen of Tzolis. MLS has looked ag jome in midfield,  Bruno has well been, Bruno. Exactly what you will expect from a player of his quality.
All together they look ready to win more trophies.
