p2pool(beta) up and runningyou should consider it as beta. so please make sure to setup a failover pool. getting it up and running with ccc involved quite a few changes in sourcecode, and some minor issues still need to be ironed out. so the pool may periodically go offline for a few minutes while i commit possible changes. here are some sample login details: url: stratum+tcp://46.16.76.159:9342 user: yourpayoutaddress pass: any just make sure, to set the username to the CCC address your earmings should go to, or you will be mining into my wallet you can choose any password you like. payouts will immediately show up as mined balance in your wallet if the pool finds a block and you got a valid share pool stats will be available at http://46.16.76.159:9342/staticgeneral info on how p2pools work (please make sure you read about the payout logic): https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool

sound like a good cause that could be a good coin if transparency is involve... Definitely. Proof that donations are being made would be required, otherwise great way to market a coin at the expense of those who are suffering.

Proof that donations are being made would be required, otherwise great way to market a coin at the expense of those who are suffering. We agree with you. We are working on a system so that everything is transparent. For now, the charity wallet can be monitored by visiting our Block Explorer. We have plans to access it next week to remove coins to pay for the bounties and first giveaway. This giveaway is to get people started with their wallets. Nothing too elaborate. All of this will be registered on a spreadsheet and made available to the public as soon as possible. We also would like to start fundraising sooner rather than later so that we will donate wallets with small amounts to a few Cancer Organizations and post their CCC address here. This is something apart of our main goal of donating the larger wallets chosen through votes. The support has been awesome so please keep the ideas coming.

My pool is almost ready. It's working on the testnet. I've just got a few loose ends to tidy up. I'll have it ready tomorrow no doubt.

Hi Launch date was February 6th. You can start mining as now. just set your miner for solo mining using this conf. file: rpcuser=*yourusername* rpcpassword=*yourpassword* rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=9666 daemon=1 server=1 Meanwhile Matt and Bored are working on their pools and should have it fully functional anytime soon .

Ahhhh, now I know why it is getting tough to solo mine!! Was just cranking right along, and all of a sudden blocks are getting really tough!!!

My pool might be delayed unfortunately. I've had various problems, such as netbeans deciding to stop working and MPOS disabling the cron jobs for no reason and with no errors. I'll keep everyone updated.

Can't vote from work, but I have been spliting mine up between the 3 coins I like to solo mine. Yes, CCC is one of them!! Problem is, it's tracks an IP, spoof an IP and just keep voting.

I'm voting everyday, I guess I'm doing my part mining and voting if there's anything else for me to do it just let me know, I contact couple friends from Venice Italy and they're helping on voting and possibly they will start mining a swell.

I definitely wont be done today. Though I've figured out what the problems I were having are. It shouldn't be too much of a hassle to solve.

Unfortunately there are more bugs/problems with MPOS than I realised. This is taking longer than expected, but I'll keep everyone updated.

Hey Matthew, why don't you ask one of the other pools to add it? Even though I'm enjoying the hell out of solo mining this coin!!!
