I see there is a working pool, I'm curious if it is working with information provided by getblocktemplate (which I don't think is right) or if they're using another method such as getwork[ex].
Hi, the modified stratum mining code ( https://github.com/MatthewLM/CCC-Stratum-Mining) uses the updated getblocktemplate response which is available on the github code, but not on the release version. |

You seriously couldnt name it CureCoin?...Why highlight the word cancer, which is BAD, and not highlight CURE, which is what you're going after? I can already tell that 1% that will go towards marketing will not get far.

HashAxe will experience a small amount of downtime between 18:00 and 18:30 GMT as I need to change some settings that should hopefully resolve a few problems. I doubt the server will be down longer than 15 minutes in total.

Looks like the statistics got screwed up for my pool when I changed the settings. I'll try to solve it. I'll keep it in maintenance mode for now, but stratum is back up and running.

There are already several cures for cancer and holistic treatments that are very effective in aiding chemo and radiation. Still the charitable coin idea is a great one. It would be nice there were a coin that donated money to all sorts of local charities and second hand shops. When someone wanted to donate, they would just buy charity tokens that would be sent to their wallet, leaving behind an encrypted public ledger. At tax time, you just go into your wallet and read the labels or encrypted subjects on all of your donations to various groups, having an easier system of receipts. That would also make it much easier to buy the coin itself by making that donation.
If demand for the altcoin goes up, much of the value is sent out from the miners to special charity wallets.
