Thank you all for your great suggestions and support in the new name and branding thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=479486.20

It looks like we have a winner, with 3 votes in the poll and at least 5 votes in the thread itself CharityCoin wins.

Stay tuned for our new website and branding coming soon.

More great news!

MatthewLM has been assisting Mike at Poolerino today, thanks to their efforts we are now officially on Poolerino which is one of the biggest and most respected pools around. So grab those mining hats and lets get mining.  Smiley

Oh my god, that's a crap exchange, almost zero activity and very few uses it. Had a nightmare using that exchange.

Not many buyers are going to buy there, hence no point selling CCC at a very low price.

Seriously you need to get onto Poloniex, coinmarket, cryptsy.

I think it is important for the charity aspect of this coin not to flood the market and therefore decrease price.

It's very important for the charity aspect of this coin to be on a proper exchange, not some 3rd rate Mickey Mouse crap exchange as it damages the coin image.

Agreed, however the devs cannot control which exchange lists or doesn't list the coin. No one can stop an exchange listing any coin, that simply goes against the very nature of a decentralized currency.

Is there need for another xchange ?

Poolerino.com is working tight with swisscex.com, sadly also not high volumes there.

Mintpal and Coinmarket accepts new listing against small btc payments. Maybe worth a try ?

Meanwhile, mine at ccc.poolerino.com 0% fee - live chat - fast payouts.

P.S. You can still get some cheap ccc on that crappy exchange Smiley

Yes, we need a decent exchange for the coin.

Nonsense. Don't you know anything about property rights? CCC is developers' property rights and can choose which exchange to be on. Property rights goes hand in hand with free market.

Thanks for the suggestions Mike! We will try and get CCC in those exchanges.
Now that a new name has been chosen, we just need a couple of days to re-brand and we will push hard to promote this Coin.

We agree. Right now we are contacting the most reputable exchanges and it shouldn't be long until they add us. We had to halt promotion so we could rename the coin as there was not much sense in advertising it as it is.
A lot of things will happen this week and the popularity of this coin will increase very soon.

You can now view information about pool shares for the last 100 blocks here: https://ccc.hashaxe.com/index.php?page=minershare

Poolerino is still coming up partly as "Other Stratum" at the moment, but in about 4 hours it should reflect the true Poolerino share. The share for Hash Axe is correct.

Anyone know if there has been an issue with HashAxe over the last 8-10 hours or so? I had mined there for the last 8 hours with cgminer showing many blocks being found, but nothing has shown up in my transactions or unconfirmed. Although the block explorer shows the pool has been getting blocks regularly and I finally got some unconfirmed from 1 recent block that was found.

@That Guy: Please use the contact form, send me a PM, or email me directly at ccc-pool@hashaxe.com telling me your hashaxe username and which workers you are having trouble with. Please also give me the exact command you give to cgminer. Thanks.

Hi Everyone

With the upcoming change of Cancercurecoins' identity which now is Charity Coin, we have been considering, before we begin heavily promoting it, to make as many changes necessary to benefit Charity Coin and feel this is the best time to do so before the coin really takes off.

One of the changes we have been discussing is the total supply of coin which currently stands at only 100 million coins. With its new and broader goal to expand our reach to all types of charities, it seems that the existing maximum supply would not be enough to meet Charity Coins' future demand and would like to ask the community what it thinks the maximum limit should be.

Secondly we would like to know from the miners their thoughts about the donation amount.
Is 5% enough to make an impact in helping these charities? Should this be raised?

These questions were raised amongst the team behind Charity Coin and since we believe the mining community is the pillar of this Currency we decided to ask you all for your input so  please lets discuss these and any other suggestions and take action so we can ensure a successful and meaningful currency.
