Due to the bad market conditions, the investors confidence is really low which in turn is hurting new investments in ICOs. These ICOs then in turn extend their token sale which in turn lead to an extension in bounty program duration.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Due to lot of scammed ICO more investors lost their interest investing in ICO. Success rate of ICO decreased that is why bounty campaign period nowadays are extending. Do you agree?
I think those bounty campaigns that are extending does not reach their soft cap. For them to be able to reach it, they need to extend their campaign so that many people will invest into their coin.

If a person treats investments with at least some seriousness, he will not face scams, because they can be seen for 100 kilometers.

I think one of the reasons why bounty campaigns nowadays are extending because of only few are holding their coins and it makes their capital low. Once a project requires more advertisement so that more investors will invest, then the project manager thinks the only way to survive the project is to extend the campaign. Other cause are scam project that makes investors to think twice or more before they will get involve in s project. Which it makes the legit project are difficult to differentiate with the scam projects and it will make low soft cap in their ICO projects. These are only my opinion, I hope it will may help everyone here.

That should definitely be one of the reasons. There are now so many ICOs in the space and the more the number of ICOs, the more the scams among them. Although there are also genuine ones. So investors are trying to be careful not to fall victim of scam projects. Also, the present bearish state of the market is also making some investors to draw back. That  notwithstanding, people are still investing into good projects and some ICos are making good sales.

Yes, this has indeed become the main basis in the extension of the bounty campaign period. However, if the project wants to be successful it must reach the target of selling their tokens. Another thing that might be influential in the extension of bounty time is a weak market situation.

The market is all set up badly. I don't remember so many scams when there was a bull market. Only such a sharp drop has led to a large number of scams.

It makes no sense to participate in a large number of bounty campaigns now , it is better to take 2-3 of the best.

I agree, I also got into this situation. Now there are so many ICO that not everyone can collect the right amount during the campaign

In general you did answer your own question.
Projects are not achieving their goals in their timeline thus they are forced to extend the ico and with that extend ICO as well.

This is a very big concern from me and with what have gotten to discover it's mainly due to the sale which is softcap not been met and also some for more advertising reach out.

I do not think so, the bounty is expanding because of the desire for their ads to not reach the target, investors still do not care about their project, should force them to continue to give round 2, 3,...

It is pretty annoying to participate in a bounty program for more than 10 weeks there after, you will be told that the campaign has been extended with an additional three weeks. The last time is checked, one project mentioned that, the reason for their extension is for them to reach their target cap. I guess maybe that is the same reason why most bounty projects are being extended lately

It simple, the icos currently ongoing are not nearly meeting hardcap, and in their quest to get the best out of their project they are hoping to extend till they see bull run. By then people will have no issue investing in ico  and bounties will stop getting extended.

All right, there were a lot of scammers in the ico industry. Therefore, many investors are simply afraid to invest money. Projects do not collect the right amount of money and extend the sale, and accordingly the bounty campaign.

Because the teams see that the ICO has not raised enough money and they have to extend the ICO, and after it, the bounty is extended.

Yes, you're right. They are probably extending the campaign because they have not reached yet their desired fund to be raised. This is primarily the main reason why they extend their campaign.

The success rate for ICOs has decreased significantly with less amount of funds being raised in each succeesive months, the lowest was 400 million in August (from 1.8 Billion earlier in the year), Investors are having a rethink about investing since the bears market persists.Hopefully the tide will change in the coming months. By extension, only when projects are unable to raise cash that they keep extending campaigns

There are two possible reasons:
1. It is as planned by the team behind the project.
2. The team is avoiding the difficulties in the market.
But either of the two, it will still be for the good of the project in a long run. They have to do such thing in order for their project to not be wasted due to the problems with regards to the downtrend.
