Why so many bounty campaign are extending?

Due to lot of scammed ICO more investors lost their interest investing in ICO. Success rate of ICO decreased that is why bounty campaign period nowadays are extending. Do you agree?

Because the current market price is bleeding, the ICO teams project won't sell their tokens cheap because most of them are in ETH rate or BTC rate.
Maybe they will wait until August before opening ICO

The ICO projects extending time maybe they not able to reached there target goals and also for the promoted coin they launched are not too much demand by the participants. So, they extended there campaign ,hoping for a miracle to improves the profit they earned.

The reason is obvious, they just are not hurry enough to gather an amount of money, that is needed to achieve, what they have planned.
So they decide to postpone the end to gather more.

Honestly you have a point....  Before i am curious why a lots of bounty project extends the period of their campaign....  But now I know it....  It is because a lots of scam emerge....  It is just an indication that scam is everwhere that's why investors are taking aback to invest because of it....  It really hard to search a true campaigns than those who are fake....

I agree with you, the crypto market is expanding and there are so many fraudulent ICOs that many bounty hunters feel confused and distrustful when deciding to join the ICO, investors are wary of invest. There should be measures to prevent these fraudulent ICOs.

Extended bounty is usually not a good signal, although some find a solution. But I think the situation is more serious than just a longer time.
Even on a good project, ico should be extended. Too many choices, and that is the main problem why the level of ico success has decreased.

I agree and in addition to that extending issue, the ICO would refer to the overall current market status in which the market performance of today is in difficult that the ICO would believed it is not the right time for the people to invest because of afraid of losing too. They extending it with hoping that the market will on bull run so that the real demand for the investments will achieve.

I'm not fully agree with you but most of them who extending the ICO is because they are not reach the softcap and i think it's because of the project that is not good on the perspective of investor. Of course the investor is more know about which ICO is good or not.

yes I really agree with you. currently many ICO's turn out to be scam or fraud. if this continues then investor interest in ICO will be greatly decreased and that will result in few successful projects going forward. this is indeed a fundamental problem in the crypto community and it is not yet clear how to solve it. so it really takes effort and promotion that people believe in ICO survival. and is currently a popular bounty campaign because most members avoid ICO.

Since there are a lot of scams on bounties and yes I had a few as well .. is there someone keeping a list of bounties that actually paid.  So far i am finally starting to receive my bounty from Exscudo ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1781624.0 )  the ICO ended like early last year and mainnet just launched.

Another was MGO ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1792451.0 ) but the coin looks pretty crap right now.
Recently I've attended a talk by AES ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4497315.msg40472298#msg40472298 ) , signed up and they gave signup airdrops within a few days.

A lot of the Earn.com so called "airdrops" / "bounties" didn't seem to come in even though after the ICO period. All I ended up with was a shit load of telegram groups with a LOT of shitcoins.

Would be great if someone came up with a proper list maintained by a reputable individual on this forum to validate that ICOs would be paying out the bounties as promised. I know it won't be easy to validate .. but never ask .. never know.

You have the point but there’s other reason why like the ICO haven’t reach their hard cap or even soft cap which they need to extend the bounty campaigns. And also the market should be good for them to successfully finish the bounty program, because they cannot reach the goal if they sell their tokens in below price they expecting. Extending is better option for ICO project to get the chance to hit the target market price.

There are so many ICOs today and many end up with scams so many investors are not interested anymore in ICO so many of them even have sales that do not reach soff caps during the main ICO period so they extend this period and also the bounty period will also be extended

There seems to be some accumulation of the current situation. Of course the market is sluggish, and ico is more created, with almost the same concept. While the community will be safer to wait than to take greater risks. Maybe this situation needs a real solution, especially about regulation.

Yeah. ICO project is increase everyday. So bounty is help to reach the all country people. So if project will be increase bounty also increase. More campaign in the bounty. So most of the people join the bounty. If project is not good people will be not accept. So people need for the best project bounty. It help to people easy to join best project and get more profit.

I think there should be regulatory body to trim down the numbers of ICOs this will curb the growing numbers of scamming ICOs and their excesses, there are many of them these days with the bearish sentiment of the market I wonder how they will able to reach their Soft Cap, thus there is no other choice for them than to extend their bounty campaigns.

I agree that the projects extended because they could not meet their target coin to invest which make the interest of the investors to lessen and back out and do not support the project at all which result to become unsuccessful. ICO has hardcap and softcap which describe for the success project once it is meet. Sometimes ICO extending because there are some changes in the project for its good development.

That's a main problem we are having now. May be they are extending the campaigns until they meet their targets. some campaigns are extending their bounty for over 2-3 months. If we were doing social bounty of them then it will be a headache. Because we have to continues with that bounty and we have to do social media tasks each and every day. If we stop the bounty before ending it then we will not be rewarded. In the mean time continuing that bounty for that long will not be a profitable one as we will get very small amount of tokens at the end of the campaign when comparing with the time we spend.

As of my experienced, ICO's are extended because on the target date of the ICO has to end, the target token to be sold are not yet sold. Yes it is true that successful rate of ICO decreased but I think that is because many people already lose their faith in ICO's because of so many scams ICO's. Instead of investing on ICO or instead of buying coins in ICO , they just find different ways to earn
