Question:
Quote
You mentioned that potential bidders in developing countries are barred from participating in many auctions - how damaging is this to the current A&C market?

Answer:
Quote
It is very hard to fully quantify the damage this exclusion does to the A&C market and how many sales are lost. As a starting point, the Codex Consortium (on aggregate) estimates that 1 million bidders were excluded from auctions overall due to lack of access. Not to mention how the decrease in competition may affect items from reaching their full market prices.

They have given an update on July about the distribution in terms of Airdrops, not in terms of ICO, so what are the requirements we need to have in order to qualify for the Airdrops Either we need to hold ETH  or any other coins.

They have given an update on July about the distribution in terms of Airdrops, not in terms of ICO, so what are the requirements we need to have in order to qualify for the Airdrops Either we need to hold ETH  or any other coins.
This clip from the team's update should help to clarify:

The first airdrop will be to the 3,500+ community members who successfully
passed our KYC process and provided us with a token wallet address. Those members will each receive an airdrop of 500 CodexCoin tokens (CODX). Purchasers who bought as part of the public sale will each receive a refund of the ETH they contributed along with an additional airdrop of 2,000 CodexCoin.

Question:
Quote
Don’t you think this will be difficult to implement given people’s fear of change, especially in a market like the art & collectibles market?

Answer:
Quote
This was a challenge that we have identified from the very beginning. There are many nuances in this market and the problems we are addressing are systemic and centuries-old. The key to driving adoption is the strong consortium we already have in place. The Codex Consortium members are significant players who drive significant volume; they are fully committed to supporting the Codex protocol and use BidDex exclusively as the only cryptocurrency.

Question:
Quote
How does Biddable work? How does Biddable make it easier for investors to bid?

Answer:
Quote
"Biddable uses a Smart Escrow solution to handle the problems faced by bidders and sellers, bringing verified trust to both parties. Smart Escrow is a deposit-escrow system wherein both the title and a cryptocurrency deposit is escrowed from the seller and the buyer. This enables buyers to prove their intention to pay to the seller while maintaining their privacy. Meanwhile, it keeps sellers honest by escrowing the title, without which the item would lose value. This system parallels the escrow system used in many real estate transactions."
