I do not consider it to be a problem, the market is experiencing difficult times so any new coin is going to have problems regardless of how good it is, but if you think the coin has the potential to solve a problem and the developers are competent then this is the perfect time to buy into a newly released altcoin since it is price is going to be very low and you could get even better profits than those that invested in the ico.

Due to competition and number of scams the success probability of a certain project do become more lesser and lesser as the years goes by and we can really differentiate ico projects into last years compare to as of now.
