lol 132 blocks already mined that was fast

i wouldn't worry about those, they were pathetic amounts 9 coins each block.... this has 250 BILLION minting right?  that is 2.5x doge and it had 500k per block.... these blocks are just the warm up.

The block payout is a function of difficulty. The higher the difficulty, the higher the payout. Unfortunately, this provides no incentive to get in on the launch. I might as well wait and see if the coin is worth any money at an exchange before I waste my hashpower on it.

+1.  What a crock.

This is crap. THEIR official pool is running, but none others because they aren't publishing the SOURCE

Quote
Pool list:
§ Official pool (currently offline, online when launch occurs): http://pool.synco.in:33550 [1% fee] [~10 mins payout]
§ ValidError pool (taking registrations): http://syn.validerrorpool.com/ [1% fee] [? mins payout]
§ HashRapid pool (taking registrations): http://syncoin.hashrapid.com/ [? fee] [? mins payout]
§ HashStrike pool (taking registrations): http://syn.hashstrike.com/ [0% fee] [1 mins payout]

(just checked all the pools)

when they say that your username is your address, at the pool, does that mean you ip address?

I think i like the regular old pool setup  rather than p2pool

Here's the addy it puts it in, or else it gets the hose again...
BTC:16kWLsTvdmJL8R7dw6RqqwsRboAK8e1Dfq

No. It means your wallet address. Use the default or create a new one.

Yes exactly, the blocks only have 9 coins right now, so i don't know why people are freaking out. They are missing nothing. These blocks need to have 500,000 or even 1000 000 if there are 250 BIllion coins total miniting.  I guess when diff hits 100 you will see a ton more coins per block. As i said earlier in this thread there isn't much to miss out on if you join later on. That's how it sounds anyway from the OP.

Doesn't work, I choose a port and try to connect with cgminer but it just hangs.

If all goes well with getting, and building from source - should have 2 additional P2Pool nodes:

http://p2pool.na.globalhash.net:33550
http://p2pool.eu.globalhash.net:33550

And ignore this.  Launch +20 and no source for pools.
