And without giving any further explanation or analysis why buying right now would be bad, is just pretty lame.

How about this analysis, justifying that buying now is risky? On the weekly chart, MACD is deep into negative and price is hugging the lower BB.
It is risky to buy BTC now, even if it's oversold, since it could drop further, below 6k$, and eventually even as low as 3k$.
If there will be a recovery, marked by strong buys, weekly MACD will cross into positive and price will move away from the lower BB.
To buy BTC, I would wait for strong buys, absolutely needed for the recovery, or the minor correction that would follow that pump.

If you want to invest on bitcoin in long term then the current price is okay I think because it looks like the price never fall below $6000 so that little amount will not be a big problem in the future when the price will get too expensive.The downtrend may already over and we may see the price rise in the coming days so don't wait too long because the price can jump too faster while you are waiting.There was a slight upward movement in the bitcoin price yesterday so it looks like the perfect time to invest.

Yes, I actually expect that by now long term investors would have started accumulating bit by bit and keep doing so as the market keeps going lower and those who have bought at the peak, can start compensating themselves with the low market.

Positive well said , buying btc now is highly risky due to most analyst chart .. i am waiting BTC to retreat back to 3k$ then start accumulation from that point down just afraid for altcoins massacre at that point. so better keep $ instead of BTC\ALTscoin .

Main problem in bitcoin price is that nobody can predict exactly what will happen in the coming days.
