The best cryptocurrency in 2018-2019 would be Bitcoin for me as its the main trading pair in all exchanges. The growth of all digital currency will be based on the market value of bitcoin. Once it hits up, the rest will follow.

Same as you I think best currency will be the only bitcoin, I am sure bitcoin is going very high in price as it has more potential and it is the best investment ever, I think no one is going to be more famous and more high in price but only bitcoin, for me at this time it is surely too important to support bitcoin because it is the only currency that can the life of everyone so we need to buy it which is going to have highest price.

Of course bitcoin is the best choice all the times for investment. If you have small money for investment then you can buy Ethereum or litecoin also. I am expecting many cryptocurrencies to rock in coming months and especially with Privacy coins like Monero, Zcash and also Golem, Neocoin, XRB, Tron, Ripple, and Bitcoin as i think they are going to get huge demand in coming months as their charts are showing some good technical pattern and once the price confirms  the breakout then you can easily see a good 50% to 80% move in the bullish direction and i am sure everybody is expecting the same thing and having the same view in these coins.

If we are really looking at explosion in terms of value increase in percentage, the truth is that no one can actually know.
EOS, ADA, LTC and so on can come up with a huge price but to me when it comes to best, I am looking at the value it creates to the community and how well it is being used.

Truthfully, I would say it is only ETH that is actually being used to its fullest right now as a smart contract platform but does not still mean that we should just expect the price to just boom as a lot of people usually expect.
