Thanks for reminding me that I’m not the most foolish man in the world. When I sold my bitcoin when the price is at 12000$ then here you’re selling it on the price at below 7000$. Good move.

No one will question your decision as it is your freedom, but don’t know if encouraging others to sell is also a good act.

I’ll be a happy man if it recovers fast that you can’t buy back in the lower price, but on 10000$ each.

People are funny. Smiley

I consider myself a latecomer to bitcoin.
Mid 2016 ish.

Actually started to "buy" in 2017. Before was just faucets, and such.
Bought @ 1500.

So I don't get the panic.
It's still up over 100% in a year. And far more than that at my buy in.

Call me silly, but that still seems like a pretty solid return. Of course there was going to be a pull back! The price spiked way too high, way too fast. Anybody who thought otherwise was fooling themselves.

Just remember. 90% of traders or more lose their money. And they're all trying to follow the same signals.

When everyone is selling, I'll buy, thanks very much.  Cool
And when everyone starts buying again, then I'll sell.

The technology is too powerful. It isn't just going to close down, and go back to being a nerd toy.

You find it difficult to hold looking upon the gradual price drop without any signs of growth for a long. Same time people who have been holding long expecting good return on their investments and missing the ath keeps on holding with patience expecting good growth to take place. Further we cannot do anything, everything is in the hands of God.

Bitcoin prices are about to shit themselves, big time.  Lots of bad news today.  I went to my account and moved to cash.  When it looks like things have settled, I'll buy back in at a lower price and make more profits.

For now, SELL YOUR BITCOINS!!!
Definitely wrong! this is why the market is having a hard time to recover. Due to those people who are not awared on the nature of the market volatility, the market keeps on falling. Investors should know that dumps are tenporary and holding would be the best solution. DO NOT SELL, JUST HOLD in order to earn profit once the recovery starts.

LOL, this old shit sayin' since when bitcoin was 20k, now 6k still the same song being played. never learn, already lost 70%+ and counting. never listen to those fag screams hold hold hold all time, should have just sold and leave at 15k that time

It is good you sold yours but hope you won't regret later and beat your chest for selling a valuable item in the near future. Bitcoin short term price reduction doesn't warrant anyone to sell unless emergency is needed. Bitcoin will rise back.

If you think that trading will make you earn more profit right now like selling all your bitcoins then just sell it, the market's volatility will be always the reason why cryptocurrency is very profitable but i prefer holding my coins as of the moment because there is too much drastic changes in the market today.

Almost everything was lifted up with God here, and I think people should realize evenly that we should trust also our decisions. Even how we expect great from the investments we had, it doesn't mean we have to dump it all the way when we see the falling market created panic. We need to be strong and keep holding, so if you had remaining coins in your wallet; much better to wait until such time bitcoin correction will stabilize

it seems I will not sell bitcoin when bitcoin prices are going down like this because when bitcoin prices go down then you sell bitcoin then you will get only better losses you hold bitcoin when you are stuck at high prices.

If you already solf your bitcoins last few days ago better you should not to say people sell their bitcoin too. Even they have a lot of bad news in bitcoin they have good news will come maybe not today but after few days it will have I think. Better to buy more bitcoin instead of selling your bitcoin because it is not good to the community.

I think to sell bitcoin now is not wise because bitcoin price is currently down and if sell now then you will lose unless you already get profit, the best thing to do now is hold and wait for the price rise

Of course they'll regret it later on. They aren't investing, but straight gambling; everything they do is pretty much guaranteed to result in disappointment.

These people should sell their coins and never come back. There are enough large parties out there more than happy to accumulate weak hand coins all day long. They aren't interested in the tech, they aren't interested in the use, they don't care what they put their money in, etc. Less of these people means less overall scams as well, because the scams we have to deal with today are all thriving on these baboons.

You will regret that later. Roll Eyes

If you invested or bought the bitcoins at high price means you recently invested on it so how can you expect the returns in very short term. Roll Eyes

Anyway if you don't believe the technology of bitcoin the find someother investment with better yields.

You could try timing that buy perfectly. More likely than not though, you're going to see that you'll try buying in at lower rates thinking that this is not the final correction coming in BTC's way, and miss out on the true bottom and potentially have to buy on the way up.

That risk is something that I personally don't like taking. Which is why I'm holding onto my position because of the fact that prices can't go much lower than it already is (there will be a ton of buying pressure at $3-4k most likely), and also, if I do sell now, I gain pretty much nothing.

Never go with the crowd sentiment. The popular sentiment right now is panic selling, which means that prices are overly dumped and undervalued. If BTC goes lower than it already is, I'd actually be prepared to buy instead of sell.

then go long with 3x margin at bitfinex, dont just talk so loud  Grin Grin Grin
If you actually get him clearly, it is not like he is trying to give the theory of the value not going down lower, but the thing here is that selling now after holding for long already is pretty much a terrible mistake since there could still be a possibility of a short reversal anyway before we even get to hit the $5k probably. Going long now is not the case, since what we are talking is not leverage but in terms of real asset selling, buying or holding and he sure do have a point.

Cryptocurrency is not for you if you are easily taken by all those negative news and black propaganda against bitcoin. If you sold your bitcoin today then good for you. You bought it and i think you were at losing end either way.

Its your coins and your decision to sell it but you cannot expect that everyone will start following you as negative news and rumors will always be a part of bitcoin community and if you are getting carried away so easily then bitcoin is not the right place for you to invest your money and you should think of alternate investment as people who have faith in bitcoin will hold their bitcoins for long term without selling it now.

Its upto you if thats what you want. Dont convince other people and mislead them. After the time comes, you will regret doing that. You have such a weak heart and i think its just right for you to do that. You dont deserve cryptocurrency because you should possess patience, wise and strong heart.

Its your decisions if you are really thinking negatively about the market today but just make sure that your decisions will give you no regrets in the future because the price can also pump up when people are going to start investing again.
The point at which he has decided to sell is not even the best chance right now. He had all the chance to get out of the market during the downtrend and now that we are getting pretty close to the downward trend is pretty much a huge one.

I do not expect the market to just keep going down in a huge spree anyway, which brings me to the conclusion we might actually see a quick jump upward for a short term, looking at the way the chart is playing out. Hopefully in the short term, he does not regret that decision.
