i suggest you not to exposed any information of your wallet to anyone. especially your balance and also your private key, it is best not to tell anyone about it. or use a better wallet not only myetherwallet.

First, never ever ever share your private keys with anyone (nobody should ever ask for them anyway, and if they do, it's probably a scam).  Second, if possible, use a hardware wallet.  I use a Trezor and I love it, but Ledger is great too.  Third, if you are keeping your crypto in an exchange wallet, be sure to use F2A and pray the exchange doesn't get hacked!

I do not believe electronic wallets or exchanges at all, you should buy yourself a hardware wallet - it is the best way to store you cryptocurrencies safe. Yeah, it is cost like 80$, but compare tp how much you can save on thanks to this wallet, it's nothing.

hardware wallet is better than using online wallet. that's why I prefer to use nano ledger to hold my funds than using myetherwallet and metamask. I feel safe that way.

Digital wallets are really vulnerable to hackers most especially if you don't secure it very well for yourself. Don't expose your private keys to someone else or sent by a messenger to your other account, be responsible to keep your private keys being safe. Because sometimes the reasons of some private keys being hacked by the hacker's is due to carelessness of the user's. And its very hard to captured again your lost money so again be care full enough in order to protect your private keys to the hacker's.

My friend told me about this, it start when you open some fishy link on your e-mail ( spam msg for example ). Your online wallet will be more accessible if you store your wallet information ( ex. private key  and personal info. ) on your email. Is that true?

Wwll the only thing you need to do is to protect your private key and .dat file very well. I suggest if you're using MEW like the most then print your private key and don't store it to your computer with internet connection to about potential hackers. Or better link your MEW to metamask to have more security.
If you have budget then i suggest that you buy hardware wallet to have more secure wallet

There's a issue before about the MEW, some hackers create a fake MEW website so if you log-in on that fraud website it will be disaster. So you gonna check your url always if the website is "secured or not secured".

It is best to use cold storage. Use metamask. If you are using mew, then use the offline version. Do not go by unknown links, watch porn only from reliable sources. Do not keep all the funds in one wallet. Do not give a seed phrase to nobody, ever ever.
