No, its not normal.
We do have a new source made available however, who fixes for situations like this.

The windows compiled binary will be released within December. (v2.1)

I always saw BCT as a place to talk technical details & get support while reddit, fb, twitter is where i look to promote.

speaking of that, always use the #trollcoin tag on Twitter, bots spam $troll so those tweets get buried.
