uh oh! thanks for bringing it to our attention
add the nodes list from
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/troll/#!network
to your trollcoin.conf

ill check to see if any seed nodes are online, that could be the issue if you are starting a wallet sync from scratch

also, another reminder, do not use the Android TrollCoin wallet, slows to crawl eventually & you could lose your coins as a result

Anybody else having trouble with their wallet connecting last few days?

I do. I have invested a ton of my precious time into this and have stumbled across something that I condemn. U peeps think that theres nothing wrong with this. Im much more advanced in recognizing scams than u and I look deeper than average joe, always finding a thingy that spurs a suspicion of being a malevolent element.

$100 isnt much, could be worth the lulz

Yobit would be the perfect exchange for Trollcoin.  On a number of altcoins, it is second only to Poloniex in trading volume (e.g. coinmarketcap list).

Yobit is like a party every day of pumps and dumps, with interest as much determined by a coin's name as anything else.  Unlike Trollcoin, Putin Coin has no particular technical features existent or planned (and a long-vanished developer), but nevertheless Yobit denizens put countless bitcoins into it because they liked the name.

The local trolls would appreciate a coin called Trollcoin.

If this is true, getting listed is not very expensive..:

we love trash talk & fud here, makes life interesting! there will be a minor update to TrollCoin to update seed nodes allowing people to connect without having to manually add.

I've gotten locked out of my accounts on YoBit with no explanation from Support other than "Check your spam folder!" etc.  It asks me to input an e-mail authorisation code when I try to log in, but they've sent me no code and there's nowhere to input such a code anyway.

YoBit will never upgrade your coin if you have it there -- They will stick with the older version and happily stay on their own fork forever.

Please do not pay any money to be added to YoBit.  Better to spend money towards a working Android wallet instead.

NM, sorted it out.  Turns out I had to disable Ghostery.

Any plans on fixing it?

I've realized paying contractors to work on TrollCoin services such as the Android wallet gives short lived results such as the Android wallet.
I, you, we, anyone interested in the continued success of TrollCoin can help by seeking out like-minded individuals who can code & maintain these services. I can personally pay them a respectable sum in TrollCoin from my own stash & a few other benevolent whales have pledged similar offers.

Thanks to Youngwebs for bringing this to our attention.

Reports of a few wallets on a sidechain, check that your wallet blocks sync same as http://chainz.cryptoid.info/troll
Another symptom is receiving unusually large number of staking rewards. especially on a low TrollCoin balance.
If you suspect being on a side chain, back up your wallet.dat, delete everything from apppdata/roaming/trollcoin (except wallet.dat) add a trollcoin.conf with nodes from https://chainz.cryptoid.info/troll/#!network then resync your wallet.
