There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

As many needed until the good ones show up, I would say. The same was said - legitimately - about ALL altcoins thanks to Dodge. And look what happened since then. |

your distrust of Masternode coins as an industry is pretty well deserved I must say. We feel the same way. Coin after coin coming out with insane ROI percentages that are totally unsustainable for more than several days, merely to attract people who think (and often do) make a lot of money in a very short period of time if they happen to have one of the first few MN's and the dev can keep the scam going long enough before the ponzi scheme comes crashing down under the weight of the massive amount of coins generated in a short period of time. I will say there are a number of very legitimate Masternode coins out there but alas they are few and far between and the market space as a whole has been given a well deserved bad rap by the 'shit coins' that have propagated..so I truly get where you're coming. The only thing I can assure you is that CatoCoin is different. No empty promises, real innovation, realistic ROI and a dedicated team to insuring it's long term survival.
