Happy Americans... Here in EU if I'm caught to have any firearm either in my house or even worst with me, I will get longer prison sentence than the assailant could get for knocking me unconsciousness and stealing everything I have. Laws are stupid.

P.S. too many guns are too many. In case of emergency there will be no time to grab shotgun from trunk. You will be happy to be able to grab, cock and shoot your Glock or whatever you have. So stick to the most reliable and ergonomic gun you have. In case of war or siege it is good to have lot of different guns but for self defense they are redundant and a possible source of additional weapons for attackers.

No way. I'm not getting robbed, that's for sure.

Anyone who tries to rob me is getting a bullet in the throat and 2 in the eyes.

I like to keep the brain alive as long as possible so he can realize he's dying, otherwise he'll never know he died.

You are sick

Reading another thread where Localbitcoins.com seller was set up by FBI now I understand why you need to have serious firepower with you.

My favorite of my couple of firearms I have is my Ruger LCP. So cute! It fits in an ankle holster or goes on a pocket and is hardly noticed. Smiley  Like a cute little kitten. Smiley

I have 6 firearms even though I hardly ever use them and am not even really a gun person/user. Why? Because I can. Because they hold their value.. because they are aesthetically pleasing. I collect coins too. And comic books, or at least I did 15 years ago.  And geodes.. very pretty.

I often think I have too many though. I'm a minimalist and don't like to hoard a lot of 'stuff' .. the less 'stuff' is cluttering things up the more free I feel. Plus using a gun is no small matter. There are legal ramifications to think about for sure. Lots of people take a pretty casual attitude towards actually using them on a person, or at least that's the image they like to portray.

I'm pretty sure bringing illegal firearms to a sting operation falls into the "not helping your case" category.

I prefer tanks and explosives since they're far more effective, cheap and easier to make yourself, any bombs out there that terrorists use you could easily figure out how to make from stuff in a hardware store, you Americans have this weird obsession with guns Tongue

I always keep 1 glock in my car, 1 in my bathroom taped under the sink, 1 in the kitchen on top of the fridge, and a shotgun taped under my bed.

Good to be in MERICA!

Come fuck with me

If you're cocking a Glock, it's not a Glock.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

If you're cocking a Glock, it's not a Glock.

Indeed, since I believe the definition of "cock" typically includes "hammer", a part which Glocks do not have!

If we are being less semantically precise, we could say that the Glock is "cocked" after you've racked the slide. Otherwise we have to say things like, "The striker is in the ready to fire position." Wink

More info:

Regarding the OP: I am always within hand's reach of some kind of firearm. A pistol's only purpose is to fight your way back to your rifle. Smiley

If you aren't the sole controller of your private keys, you don't have any bitcoins.

What's sick is anyone who thinks they can steal from someone and get away.

I agree. I dislike people who steal so much, unless your a bank.
